What is with this desire to tear down a superbowl team to start over

Winning a ring with Hurts wasn't good enough, they need to win one with a QB they approve of.

That's a Ketchum grenade, developed for the Union armies. The plunger at the front has a percussion cap attached so that when it hits it ignites the explosive in the body. The tail fins are to increase throwing accuracy. If the grenades did not hit nose first they wouldn't explode, in which case the Confederates would throw them back and more often than not they would.

And this is where the name "deep bomb" comes from.*

*Not really.

Spent some time last weekend at the National Civil War museum in Harrisburg. Found some interesting artifacts there. They had some hand grenades there... and one, no lie, looked exactly like the Nerf Vortex football.

Here's an image of it I found online.

Sort of makes me wonder if the developers at Nerf were Civil War buffs. Crazy similarities.

I remember those Elway commercials with the nerf football. You could throw those things so far lol

Should be 12 22 504 6 0 but AJ got sad and quit.

Huge game this week. NFC playoff seeding implications. Monday Night Football. Pack looking for revenge for game in Brazil and Wild Card round.

Eagles essentially take a full 2 game lead on the Packers with a win, given the tie sitting there. Next game is Detroit... with implications that are just as big.

That PSU QB did such a good job trying to impress the stats geeks by throwing to the hashes.

Only 3 or 4 defenders there for the tip drill.

But Tanner McKee beat the giants that one time. That means he’s probably better than Hurts right?

I think we can all agree that Tanner McKee is taller than Hurts.

The North QBs, although accurate, didn't have the necessary velocity to detonate the grenades. The South QBs did.

That's why arm strength matters.

Rattler also beat the Giants. I'm pretty sure Kellen Moore will take Hurts for Rattler in the offseason.

I heard the North also had those QB factories...

Rapsheet says the Bengals didn't receive an offer for more than a 4th for Hendrickson because of the money he's still owed this season being the main reason.

Wonder if Howie was one of em who offered that.

Bennett questionable with a FP and Adoree no designation tells me Adoree is probably starting. Or Ringo. Jurgens predictably out. We'll see what they do with Lampkin, probably inactive.

FWIW the Packers and Lions are about in that 9th to 14th range vs both the run (yards per carry) and the pass (passer rating allowed).

There is no special weakness to either of them like the Giants vs the run or the 2024 Steelers vs the pass.

Lampkin is still on IR. I doubt they activate him

Read the comments from Falcons fans on this post. Most are not happy with this move. Has been mostly hurt this year. Sounds like a good energy guy and his main strength is defending the run. Like Howie in adding more experienced depth at DT and only 26 years old.

Lot of injuries for his time in the NFL. Decent speed and size.

Yep 3-week window for him to practice. I'd bet they use it all. It's not all stash I saw he still had sleeve on his leg

12-7 Oregon at halftime in the rain. Iowa games rarely disappoint.

I think Lampkin stays in the window and at questionable, perhaps Nolan Smith, although with the APR release and Patrick back to PS, he seems most likely to go. I wonder if Bennett proved himself enough to Vic to not remain on IR for the season. Eagles have to decide on him in the next five days, so next week (21 days activated 10/22) around midweek. Eagles don’t have to activate any of the three this weekend.

@Cliftoma can you tell me more about the vsee?

Do you have a link to the most current one with 4k?

Have you ever had any issues with yours? Is there ever any updating, or programming needed? Any subscription fee at all? Do you need one for every TV?

Sorry for the delay. I was fishing in a tournament the past 2 days.

This is the one I have. https://a.co/d/iSa2r76

Says it is 8k compatible.

Never had any issues. Occasionally, it asks to update. Doesn't take but a couple of minutes.

No subscription fee. Yes, you will need one for each TV unless there is a way to have USB splitters but then all would be on the same channel I suppose.

Setup is easy. Just connect to your wifi and download the 4 apps listed in the instructions.

A joke

If Sauce Gardner gets 2, and top end DEs can get up to 3, a multiple Superbowl MVP winning QB in his prime would be more than that.

It would have to be to the right team though, and I’m not sure that team exists.

Hurts is a good QB but has a unique skill set — a power running game manager, but with a good deep ball.

If some run first team with a complete roster thought they were a QB away from a title, I think Hurts is worth 4 firsts. But to almost any other team, I’m not sure if he is, because he’s not the type of guy who is going to put an entire offense on his back for the whole season.
