Ok but I'm not really sure it moved the needle on win probability from an analytics perspective.

Maybe it moved the needle in terms of the team attitude perspective. Maybe... hopefully. This team needs some swagger. I was really happy to see Steen mixing it up.

Personally, I assumed Sirianni went for two to send a message to Elliott.

The 2 point conversion gets you up 8 + 8 + 3. The chart says to go.

I myself did not think it was a big deal but I 100% see why they went for it and these are grown men, not 5 year old tee-ballers needing a mercy rule.

Violence after that should lead to coaching suspensions huge fines and additional DC suspensions.

A coach gets fined for smack talking refs. Quinn should get a 250k fine minimum for what he said.

Its a cold, calculated, throat-slash gesture level comment meant to incite his entire team to violence.

It is a bounty made on live TV.

I assumed the Bears would lose all three games down the stretch, but playing against Willis in the 2nd half only down 6-0 this has to be a win. It’ll say a lot about the Bears if they can’t win this one.

Eagles should ditch Elliott for this guy. Maybe an upgrade.

Jake needs a swift kick in the ass. At this point, he's gone. If he goes 100% moving forward to move us deep in the playoffs then he can stay.

edit: To clarify, I'm talking about moving into the next NFL season. Naturally, we will go with him the rest of this year.

What a wild kick

Meanwhile, Jake missed 3 kicks... the exact same way in the exact same end of the field in much much much calmer conditions.

I think he just had no confidence in Elliott at all or he was trying to send some sort of message to Jake.

It also made it a 19 point game instead of 18 right? Not that they were going to give up 3TDs, but it mad the game 3TDs instead of 2 TDs and a FG.

Imagine adjusting a kick for the wind…

Today's kicking exhibition likely weighs heavy on the mind of Sirianni in big moments moving forward.

damn packers offense with a backup looks better than eagles

I checked the league wide fg% made this year is over 85%. Jake is close to 70%. Last year he was 77%. If he misses more kicks in the last 2 games im not sure how you can ride him into the playoffs.

Why did Byard suck so bad here? He's had a damn good season

In fairness he was awful with the titans that season before going to the eagles.

Sirianni said they discussed it and wanted to try to go up 19 to make it two TDs, two two-point conversions and a FG just to tie the game.

What a buffoon.

just needs packers to win tonght then lose out

Don’t even need to lose out. Just lose one of th last 2. Need the bears to lose 2 games (tonight and one of the other 2 at sf or vs. lions)

Its crazy to think The Eagles should have won the Division 4 consecutive years if it wasn't for those fluky Seattle and Arizona games in 2023.

Anyone else noticed that when we stopped playing really old guys, especially in the back 7 the Defense has gotten immensely better the last few years ? Just sayin’

They talked about it on the radio, the analytics say to go for 2 given the time and situation. So don’t know why Quinn is upset about it. He took a timeout like an ahole when the game was over and his player got hurt cause of it

I don't think that team would have gone far in the playoffs anyway. And watching the cowboys go one and done in a blow out was worth it ..the cowboys are 1-3 in the playoffs as division winners lol

Slay was pretty old last year. The Slay-Bradberry combo worked pretty well for us in 2022.

Bears were gifted the ball as they were about to go down two scores.

damn packers turned it over..

packers gonna have to win tonight..i don't see bears losing to niners/lions

Do the bears have all the eagles former safeties? Lol

Bears could easily lose to both. Look at how much they're struggling with a Packers team that lost Love for most of the game.
