I didn't see it. So there was a fight?

Yeah, they were pissed the Eagles went for two and Steen took them all on

Okay. Here's a guy I just plucked after searching free agent FG kickers. Matt Gay. I like his stats from anything under 50 yards in his career. Pretty solid. We would be in the same boat or a little better from 50+. I am willing to give him a look on a short list. Filled in this year for 49ers while Pineiro was injured. Went 8/8 on kicks.

What a time to be alive

They aren't going to swap out Jake Elliot before the playoffs. There's little point in wasting time on that

Rest seems like the worst of ideas to me. This isn’t a team firing on all cylinders.

It's been like that all year, you they're finally going to get it in two meaningless games?

Rumor going around is he is dating (or at least seeing/messing around with) John Cena's ex-wife, who is 20 years older. A little strange but whatever.

Thats right. Dallas was going to win out and take the division and this was 2023 all over again.

Sadly I think some of the posters who said this are upset it didn't happen.

The negative posters are miserable. Enjoy the greatest era of Eagles football ever!

We will have to face Washington playing their Super Bowl in week 18.

Take all the picks Howie 🤣

Honestly, I would. Only one is coming back IMO. It's a matter of what they think the better value is.

Jordan Davis put in an incredible amount of work to get his body in to game shape. He's a leader and loved in the locker room. 100% a team guy. If he walks, the Eagles get a 3rd comp potentially?

He's been a game wrecker and a dominant force.

Jalen Carter is the better player, but Davis has closed the gap. However, nothing about his attitude has ever shown that he'd put in the work. He's a headache more often than you'd like. He's going to cost a TON.

The Eagles have to look at this situation and say what's the return we get on the field, in the locker room and from a draft capital standpoint.

Jordan Davis going in to 2026 is going to be 26, Jalen Carter is going to be 25. There's no significant age gap that says one will be here longer than the other.

Jordan Davis if not signed, might bring back a 3rd round comp (practically a 4th where it falls).

Jalen Carter could bring back a substantial haul of draft picks. Look at what the Cowboys gave up for Quinnen Williams age at 27.

  1. 2026 2nd-round pick

  2. Conditional 2027 1st-round pick

  3. DT Mazi Smith

You can argue Jerry Jones is a moron, but that's my starting asking price for Jalen Carter. You either let Davis walk and get the late 3rd and keep the marginally better player in Carter, or keep Davis and bring back a haul. I'm keeping Davis. Better in the locker room. Improving player. Has shown he can be THE guy at DT.

Browns slicing up the Bills defense. I'm honestly not sure they're any better than Washington's defense

The grass is greener crowd seems to want a worse kicker (Tucker) who is also Deshawn Watson Jr at the massage table.

Nike has shown they have no idea how to make the Eagles colors. Midnight Green isn't Midnight Green anymore. Their silver pants with Kelly Green look like washed out grey or dirty white pants. The Kelly Green is a shade too bright.

Now look at what they call gold for the Saints.

Ok fine.

Let's talk about cutting Hurts or AJ instead.

I'm open to bringing a guy for a tryout. And putting him on practice squad JIC. Why is Jake Elliott untouchable?! Never has competition. Heck no! This guy has cost us a game or 2 this year. He looks disastrous and pretty lost out there. Like to get someone in here and make him get his act together with competition. At worst. If Rams (a Superbowl contender) can fire their special teams coodinator late in the season, then Eagles can hunt to find a replacement for the worst kicker in the league right now. And 2 years straight of bad kicking. And now unreliable from 40 yards out. Little different than past issues of just 50+. Gotta get out of denial mode here and face this. Locker room eventually gets peeved with this as well.

Herbert either had a great TD throw (97% of QBs) or he missed the more open guy in the middle (Hurts rating scale)

Plus the cap savings. Davis will be in the 20s. Carter high 30s or low 40s. I'm not saying I'd do it bit it's not off the table.

Guys - we are extending Carter. He’s a unicorn. Can easily sign him and JD.

The Bills defense is awful and a big reason why they aren't running roughshod over the AFC. The other big reason is who Josh Allen is throwing to (really, who is it?)

Do what the cowboys did with aubrey and see who's available in the UFL or whatever they call themselves now

Yes.

And honestly even if the Cowboys win it’s fun to watch them not be able to celebrate because their season is over. 😃

And if they win they get a worse draft pick. Win/win game

Unless you want Koo there aren't many options right now. Have to hope for the best.

3 weeks ago I mentioned Tucker. At least bring him in for a workout

A unicorn that can bring back a draft pick haul and is a luxury with guys like Davis and Ojomo. A unicorn that's one dumb move away from a longer suspension.

You can probably pay Davis and Ojomo for what Carter is going to cost.

I LOVE watching Carter be a terror. But I also know that his contract could handcuff a lot of other moves the Eagles need to make.

Bills defense is atrocious
