And just one more example of why the Eagles need to shut EVERYONE down

It depends. If the bears win next week the door is slammed shut on the number two seed. So the eagles should sit most of the starters in week 18 since that’s a revenge game for the commanders.

Looked like Walter Nolen hurt his achilles

ugh, 6 game rookie year.

He was one of those beast DTs that lots of us wanted on draft day

Kirk Cousins hasn’t been good but he’s been better than Penix. Penix being bad is one of those things that everyone knows but no one wants to say because he’s a good dude and a class act. But by this time next year the prevailing view will be that the Falcons need a QB.

Hopefully the fumble is overturned and lions get ball

Ben Johnson is going to win coach of the year for his work with the bears. But Coen deserves credit cause the jags were also awful last year (actually worse record and lost their top pick to injury in hunter) and he’s gotten the jags to avg 33 points since their bye.

Tons of guys in the mix for coach of the year. Vrabel and McDonald both would be worthy as well. And as much as I hate the guy, Payton could make a case too.

Well that’s a safety

Goff had a good 3 seconds after recovering from the low snap.

No awareness.

No moving to his right.

Just not very good QB play.

That’s true.

The jags might legitimately be the best team in the afc. They put up 31 against the broncos and currently up 14. Trevor Lawrence looks like the Qb they expected when drafting him. Avg 32.7ppg since the bye. They put up 35 on chargers, 29 on the Texans and currently 31 on Denver. Had two losses just before the bye but they’ve looked completely different since that ass whipping by the rams

Thanks John Madden

Vrabel should win it. That Patriots have 6 win roster. It doesn’t have that much talent. The Bears actually have some talent and have gotten a ton of luck. I’ll just say right now they’re going to be my pick for 2026 biggest regression team.

Coach of the year is never about the best coach. Its 100% narrative.

DaBoll, The Clapper, Nagy, and Andy Reid all have 1 coach of the year award.

Stefanski has 2

Rivera has 2

Tbh New England’s schedule has been super favorable. They’ve played 4 games against teams currently in the playoff field. They are 2-2. win at Buffalo on a Thursday night and Carolina. NE wins bills, panthers, saints, bucs, browns, jets, bengals, giants, titans and falcons.

Jags driving to go potentially up 21 on Denver in Denver.

I think Lions are eliminated if they lose tonight

They aren’t but bears clinch a playoff spot. Technically Packers lose the last 2 they are 9-7-1. Lions win last 2 they are 10-7.

There would still be a scenario if they win out and the Packers and Bears lose out

I need to see that one angle again but at first glance it appeared that he was just falling to the ground after the contact and the ball literally landed on the inside of his arm…not the hands. I don’t even think he was in a position to see the ball clearly and make an attempt at it…that’s crazy…I could be wrong.

100% on his forearm.

If the Steelers score and go for 2 will Detroit cry and start a fight?

Jaguars are destroying the broncos

Just the raiders are up 14-13 over the texans

Lions lose, bears clinch a playoff berth cause they can’t get to 11 wins like the bears have. Currently lions hold tiebreaker over bears

Nah, they could still win the 7 seed but would need Packers to lose out.

Nah

Ben wins it easily

Yes

The bears win yesterday took them out of drivers seat. At worst they can go 2-1.

If the Lions win out, they'll make the playoffs only if one of these three things happen: The Bears also lose next week at San Francisco; the Packers lose at least one of their final two games; or the 49ers lose out.

If the Lions go 2-1 down the stretch, their only path to the postseason is if the Packers also lose their final two games.

The Lions cannot make the playoffs if they go 1-2 in their final three games, and a loss to the Steelers today would put them in peril of being eliminated next week.
