Believe it or not they serve house made scrapple at Bette’s Oceanview Diner in

Berkeley California … down the road a piece for us in Davis. We make it a pilgrimage at least twice a year. I’ve asked them to add some green food coloring in Februarys past. Hope I get to ask again this February!

Add some green food coloring and then sure a pastry bag to pipe "S” "U” on it. That will help your identification with it.

Loved that place when I live in Oakland. Hop off the BART at Shattuck and Center then a short walk to Bette's. Didn't is close a few years ago? Not sure as I haven't been for about a decade.

Mutton is sheep that is at least a year old. Lamb is sheep but under 1 year old. I ate a lot of mutton and goat when I lived in India. When slaughtered by a kosher Islamic butcher and prepared by an experienced Kashmiri chef, so delicious.

Almost all breakfast meat is fine but a nice scrapple that is crispy on the outside and soft in the middle is good stuff.

Kelly Green Christmas weekend should be a new tradition (or just make it the primary).

One of the things I'm curious about is what the uniform combination would be for the Super Bowl since they are the away team this year. They have a bit of a fashion identity crisis with their away uniforms. They can't ever decide what it is. I would hope htey go with the white pants and green helmet but I also fear the all white which would be awful and won't rule out them going white jersey with black pants.
