Poached egg with it is awesome

Texas toast, fried bologna, medium fried egg, cheese, slight bit of mustard…that’s a breakfast sandwich.

A good corned beef hash all nice and crispy is my go to breakfast at diners.

Excellent choice, but only if the corned beef hash is NOT out of a can. Needs to be made from scratch in-house.

Loved that place when I live in Oakland. Hop off the BART at Shattuck and Center then a short walk to Bette's. Didn't is close a few years ago? Not sure as I haven't been for about a decade.

It changed ownership. Bette died. The new owners dropped the Bette’s from the name, and the hanging pie slice sculpture went with Bette’s heirs. But the menu and service and quality are the same. Definitely a stop for us when we go down to Berkeley.

Mutton is sheep that is at least a year old. Lamb is sheep but under 1 year old. I ate a lot of mutton and goat when I lived in India. When slaughtered by a kosher Islamic butcher and prepared by an experienced Kashmiri chef, so delicious.

I ate a lot of mutton in my high school cafeteria.

What an odd time to get your wisdom teeth taken out. They must not be compacted because I doubt he'd play if they were.

lol. Classic backfire to the NFL's greed. sleep. Not a meaningful game amongst them either.

Why did you live in India, may I ask?

Eagles should never wear black helmets, black jerseys or black pants ever again. Just go with green or white. Or rock some gray pants now and then?

19lb brisket trimmed down to 15lb…I’ll wrap it in about an hour, maybe two, in butcher paper. Hoping it’s done by midnight but it’ll be close. Hold it overnight @150. It’s 78 here today so the cook is moving along nicely, crazy warm for Christmas.

Tomorrow morning after the grandson opens his gifts I’ll smoke the boneless skinless turkey breast, a pork belly, and some jalapeño & cheddar sausage…Christmas dinner, with enough the kids can take some home.

I’ve never tried scrapple, gonna have to check it out since you all have introduced me to it now. Hash i’ve had, and it’s ok every once in a while, usually a little salty for me.

Best PHI look imo, old school.

Good work. I've got a pair of standing rib roasts (7.5 lbs each) that I'll be smoking tomorrow. Weather will be much cooler than yours, but I can take it. Anything for the flavor. Made up the au jus today to save myself that stress tomorrow.

we‘ll see if it requires surgery in the off-season, the odds of him needing surgery on both shoulders is quite unlikely, but at least for now he’s feeling better

I honestly would have preferred rib roast this year but the kids and their spouses voted brisket 5 to 1, so I decided to go all out BBQ. I do brisket and ribs regularly but recently got into smoking turkey breast and pork belly. I’ve got an awesome cherry habanero sauce to go with it.

Post pics of the rib roast tomorrow!

Yeah that couldn't wait?

I had mine out when I was in my late 30s, I woke up halfway through, the dentist was like holy ish, they gave me enough dose for a teenager like they normally do. He said later you're older and you're a bigger guy so we had to give you extra. I was pretty much out of it for 2 to 3 days afterwards very exhausted.

He couldn't wait until after the season, or at least after this week before doing this?
