Ultimately, they tabled it. I don’t think they could get enough votes to change it and the way they wanted to change it wasnt particularly very good. But id bet over the next 20 years, it gets changed. This year in the nfc and afc, all three wildcard teams are going to finish with a better record than the Carolina Panthers/Tampa Bay and ravens/steelers (potentially multiple WC with a better record than the eagles).
