Browns offense is terrible. Legitimately it’s Judkins and the tight ends. That’s basically it. Until they deal Garrett and get Watson’s contract off the books they are going to just be bad

Also the Jets scored 2 special teams TDs. The browns defense was actually solid in this game. Frankly most weeks they are until they get burned out

I don’t know about trading him only to us. But in general, they should be trading him. By the time they get themselves out of this hole (and that’s if they can get themselves out of this hole) he is likely gonna be 33 or 34. At that point, what type of player is he and will he be worth the money at that point. Odds are he’s not gonna be all pro Myles Garrett at 34. So would you rather just keep him and basically Joe Thomas him (Which is great career that he played from start to finish with browns, but you didn’t do anything with him). Or use him as a trade asset so that you can functionally build your franchise back because of how bad the contract along with the Watson trade was.

Very similar to the Dak - Parsons situation, paid the wrong player, although not a trade, until they made a decision. Hard to digest but since there was no out from the Dak contract they did what had to be done. Sucks.

He got hurt because Daboll keeps running him like a FB. Had him doing designed runs last week at the end of a blowout.

I think it was less about belief and more about Dart running for 66 and 2 TDs.

He adds a bit of that Lamar, Allen, Hurts, even Mahomes scramble respect that opens things up a bit in the passing game.

Wilson has no wheels at age 37. He was always a guy who ran around a lot.

Sometimes it was just 1 yard sacks trying to make a play. Sometimes he rolled out and threw. Sometimes he ran.

Now he is just a pocket dude who wants to go deep if he can.

Yup. Frankly I’m not sure why Jameis isn’t the backup. Hes not a great option but he’s better than what Wilson is at this stage of his career

As far as I can tell someone approximately added up his 2021 passing yards and TDs numbers which were about the same as Brady 2021 and that made him underrated.
