And more good news…great game by Campbell and we are getting two weeks for Lane and Dean back…rest them all next week… they will be ready for anything. Gutty wins with a lot of learning lessons like this benefits the Eagles in the long term.

Felt the same at the time, you see the ball hit the ground more clearly than Smith's catch. Of course they wouldn't have overturned it though because we know why. But it should've been challenged.

We should have

They try to run the offensive version of the prevent defense. It's ridiculous and totally not necessary. They were moving the ball without risky pass plays.

It's pretty incredible that the Bills biggest plays were two absolutely bull ish miracle catches, a bull ish PI on Quinyon, and a hook and ladder on 4th and 10.

The Bills did not earn that win at all

Game saving play. So won 2 games on blocked kicks.

True, so then Hurts should be able to find someone open in that case, no?

In this particular game they seemed to put themselves in a lot of 3rd and longs because they couldn't gain yards on 1st and 2nd. 3rd and long isn't ideal in that kind of weather. (I see your point though)

So what do we need to get the #2 seed

Yep. Like I said, we have a Super Bowl defense and an offense scared to death of trying to win the game.

Bears lose next two and we beat Washington next week

I thought the same too. Looked like Q came down on him and pinned the ball on the ground. Was definitely worth a second look.

Inexperienced OC that doesn’t make adjustments on the fly fast and having experienced HC/defensive coach that has been around the block.

Add on doesn’t go back to what works. For instance Saquon Barkley the first two runs of the second half had 15 yards. The next 9 plays the Eagles ran, he had two carries. It is very hard to establish the running game and get into a rhythm when you finally see it start to work and then you just get away from it for the next nine plays. Furthermore, why isn’t AJ Brown being used in multiple different ways when the offense stalls to get the ball in his hands. Buffalo was struggling and having to commit penalties (not called) to stop him

Its weird because it feels like the majority of the league can move the ball in between the 20's no problem but struggle in the RZ. Eagles seem the opposite.

Weird to say it but I hope the Bears win so the Eagles can rest their guys.

Chicago loses tonight and next week and Eagles win next week.

I think hf is more important

Good thing they didn't get the win.

I’m on this train as well. The defense should rest next week while the offense plays if Chicago does lose tonight, but that won’t happen. Just let Chicago get the 2 seed while everyone sits next week.

Win next week and Bears lose out... tonight against the 9ers and next week at home against the Lions.

The lock of the sports year of 2026 is Sydney Brown not being on the Eagles next season. There is just no chance that dude is on the roster next season. He'll either be cut or traded but he sucks, Fangio hates him, he doesn't fit the system, and is always injuring people. Biggest lock to be gone in a year. Don't think he even makes it to the draft.

The problem is simple. Execution.

I mean forget playcalling, when you are trying to run out the clock, you should be able to get 5 or 6 yards running the ball twice. Setting up makeable 3rd downs.

They literally can't run block to save their lives.

Prediction: last two drafts were defense, this spring it's going to be offense, multiple OL and TE and a blocking TE/FB in later rounds. And maybe a FA or two.

Next year they'll have the depth to shut down Dickerson and Jurgens until they're healthy and a better backup OT than Fred.

Because it's really hard to put together an OL that is this bad at run blocking.

Yes, better play design and play calling (study the Bears) would help the run game, but in the end it comes down to mano mano, beat the M--F--- in front of you!

I don’t disagree with your assessment. I think they run blocking was still ann issue the last two weeks. It was better but they still had a bunch of times where Barkley kind of made something out of nothing for them. Add on they were playing poor defenses whic helped them look a little better.

However, I thought the last possessions of the first half and the first two plays of the second half it seemed like they were getting into a rhythm. Barkley’s runs from last offensive possession of 1st half and 1st two runs of second half: 1, 9, 16, 4 (bigsby 5), 5, 10. They actually looked good. They appeared to be getting into a rhythm. then 7 of the next 9 plays we go away from Barkley. To me when you start seeing Barkley and the run game getting into a rhythm like that just keep feeding him cause you might see Barkley and the run game get themselves going even more. It felt like after that 15 yards to start the 2nd half we went away. Then just asked them to get back into a rhythm whe we needed it

Maybe, but it just seems like the Eagles have so many guys "gutting it out" that it would be good to force them to sit down for a week.

Toth played better than Jurgens. They should have stuck with him longer and let Jurgens heal up.

Theyll have at least 2 home games.

By the time they reach the NFCCG the NFC is so wide open, they may have that at home as well.

Or, most likely travel destination is a very friendly atmosphere in LA.

Otherwise, probably traveling to not so good SF or Seattle teams. All depends who gets that 1 seed. But theres no road NFCCG that sounds scary.

The importance of Epps can’t be ignored since he’s stepped in. I thought he played fine today, ticky tack call on him in the first quarter and he had good coverage on Cooks on his circus catch. He’s been holding his own and keeping Brown off the field, which is extremely valuable.

This was such a heads up play by DeJean. You rarely see people know you can shove dudes out of the way to get the ball. Special player.
