I do agree with more running thoughThe D was doing enough to win the game till the 3 and out train started. Ya the PI’s were a back breaker though. That’s really the only bad part of the D’s performance. They really didn’t give up much chunk plays or get absolutely man handled. For a bunch of scrubs…they were fine.

Hard to ask a 31 year old corner to play 16 games and stay healthy. I feel like we’ve been pretty fortunate walking that line with slay, bradberry and adoree lately. Eventually it’s more likely you get burnedYea. We just saw Bradberry and Slay fall off cliffs. Jackson was never as good as either.

We'd probably get a few pick 6Ya…but if rational thinking was applied to play calling and drives were extended RUNNING THE DAMN BALL, the D wouldn’t have been on the field so much. They largely limited the Commanders. Dumb PI’s and Ringo with the lowest IQ football play ever were the back breakers. Special shout out to Brown for not injuring any team mates on the 4 opportunities i saw that on any other day he would have sent them to the hospital.

He’s played 652 defensive snaps going into week 18. That’s 264 more than last year. And 133 more than his highest total in any season prior. If guys deserved rest he was right at the top and they ran him out there late into the 4th.If we are committed to resting guys that are vital for our playoff run, he should’ve been up there. I get playing Campbell because he’s had weeks he didn’t play much. However, I would run other backup guys into the ground to make sure that davis gotten an entire week off before the playoffs started.

Played alright for jags this year. Were rumors eagles were interested in potentially deal for him. I don’t think he breaks the bank and in this defense maybe he’s maximized.

Comes in, works his tail off every day, every week - never a complaint or a bad word about anyone. All the guy does is live and breath football - he studies the game so that he can perfect his craft. And then you have the 2025 Eagles offense - led by a coach who thinks what he thinks and does what he does (Siri can be good when he wants to be). and an offensive coordinator who creates game plans and calls plays like he's playing Madden '99.

I am just sooo frustrated because I am stuck in the middle of Niner land and all of my social interactions this week are going to be of the loud mouth self-proclaimed "Niner Faithful" variety. So annoying to smile my way through it...

Look at Zach Baun with the Saints. There are guys that never make it because they were miscast or burried that we'll never know about. Devonta not getting maximum use is unfortunate for us but not exactly uncommon
January 5Jan 5 Just now, NOTW said:(This is all specifically offense) I’ve said this before, it feels very much like they have plays and they just wanna run instead of seeing what the situation dictates and what the defense is giving you. it feels like this every week that they wanna run these plays because these are the plays that came into the game with and believe will work. They don’t build off what does work. Nor do they adjust to what’s happening in the game. Lastly they rely overly on our talent is better and will eventually overwhelmed you. imo on paper they are still most talented roster especially with 21 of 22 starters healthy. But i don’t think their talent is playing to the level where they can just overwhelm anyone on offense.

Like some of the offensive play calling is atrocious. Like they can’t be this dumb can they? Hopefully they will just stick to what works in the playoffs.
