Hope they win for you. I had to deal with that crap when the cardinals beat us in the nfc championship game.

Frankly if the eagles aren’t winning it i tend to think it comes down to Seattle vs. rams. I don’t think the niners get there unless they avoid going to Seattle in the divisional round.

Oh, that post had nothing to do with "Maximum use". It had everything to do with the coaching staff putting in the same amount of hard work, dedication and due dilligance as DeVonta Smith does every day and every week. And if they're not capable of doing it - having the wisdom and respect for their players to ask for outside help, etc - at the very least, they should be working overtime,with little sleep, until they put a respectable offense on the field.

They don't even need to play chess - they could play really good checkers and still manage winning and putting a decent NFL caliber offense on the field. (Especially with the generational level defense they have this year).

I think they have held back hurts running as much. That part I do believe is true. Partially hurts wanting to not run as much. As well as I think they realize that they can’t keep running him and get to the end of the season then enter the playoffs with him banged up. I think that’s part of the reason why they haven’t done it as much this year.

However, I don’t trust their play-calling in situations and adjustments to be better. It’s 17 games and it’s been largely the same thing. I tend to think Patullo is in over his head, the OL hasn’t played at the level we need and we don’t have a historic run game that can cover up when the passing game becomes predictable and inept

The D largely played well enough to win, ya with starters for sure they could have clamped down. For the 16th time this season (hooray Raiders game). At the end of the day, the O playcalling let the D down and put them in bad spots. I don’t disagree with you, just don’t think they were atrocious as a whole. Ya the penalties sucked…but it wasn’t like they were getting gashed and committing those penalties.

Meh... nice game. Should have won it with a more ball controlled running approach to keep our defense off the field. Good news is I don't think the Bears will beat GB (GB rested... Chicago looked like trash and got more banged up). We beat the Niners at home they got more banged up too. #2 Seed doesn't matter at that point. Note: GB lost on a fluke onside the last game in Chicago. All will be righted next week. Go birds!

The frustrating thing is we just need our offense to be average with how good our defense is.

We really want a Saturday wild card game. One less day for Whiners to heal up and an extra day rest before the divisional game.

McKee’s lapses of judgement in key moments are a huge flaming red flag and completely inexcusable. The first was one of the opening drives in the third quarter. Down 3 they needed a sustained drive and had a great first down gain. Facing a short conversion McKee chose to give up a sure first down for a contested pass…incompletion leads to 3 and out. And…with game on the line multiple passes downfield to receivers completely out of bounds…that was not the yips. QB are hard wired to focus on making sure receivers have a chance for the ball. Again..a high throw, a throw behind the receiver, a late throw are physical mistakes. What I witnessed on several occasions reflect really badly on his mental preparation.

But I dont think some should just write him off after only playing a few games total with mainly backups.

I posted earlier today that we shouldn't judge him whether he plays good or bad. QBs need a bigger sample size to determine how good they are. Can't tell how good or bad he is after only a few games playing, mostly with all backups.

I dont know how good or bad he is but I won't come to a conclusion after today's game. If he played today with AJ, Devonta, Goedert, Barkley and the starting defense and still played poorly and lost then I can say that was not a good showing.

I don’t think sirianni helps matters. Sirianni does some things well as a head coach. However the pass offense has been wildly inconsistent since the slide we had back in 2023. In 2024 we could get away with just being efficient because the run game was historic and we got arguably the best OL performance since Howie got back into his current role.

Imo sirianni isn’t a Xs and Os play calling mastermind. He is not going to greatly out scheming our opponents. It is we are more talented and our talent will eventually show up.

We were showcasing McKee hoping to up his value instead of trying to win the game by running.

Steichen did well in SD. Herbert vouched for him big time. Herbert had an amazing rookie season, then started to regress after Steichen left, and then bounced back when Harbaugh got there.

What do we consider average? Analytics say we are basically average. To me i don’t think the offense can just be average in certain games. They are going to have to be better in some games. I love the defense but if you run them into the ground eventually the dam is going to break. They should be able to put up points on SF. The niners have given up 24 to the titans, 27 to the colts and 38 to the bears prior to Saturday. Frankly i think Seattle kind of did what the eagles have done to limit darnold’s mistakes
