Only sliver of hope I have is there are examples of teams doing something poorly all season then come playoff time flipping a switch

For example 2006- 2007??? When colts won superbowl they had one of the worst run defenses in the regular season then come playoff time they made some adjustments and turned it around and won a superbowl.

Problem is I dont think patullo and Siri make the necessary adjustments.

One adjustment I would have made weeks ago is shutting Jurgens down for the rest of the season. Hes been awful.

They arent doing that, hell continue to suck donkey balls and the coaches will tell us hes a warrior for playing with missing vertebrae ...😒

Hes not a functional OL and Dickerson isnt either

Maybe the extra week of rest will give dickerson some juice but what about the next week after that?

The O line full of backups today looked at least functional in the run game, they werent world beaters but they held their own against starters on the otherside.

I think the key to the offense playing well in the playoffs is Hurts’ legs. We need to get him going on the ground. That will open everything up.

He absolutely is. Being in the Pitt market I've seen a lot of Steelers and he makes play after play after play for them.

I have always believed that games are won with just a few indicators....turnovers, third down/red zone conversions and average starting field position. All three involve all three units, offensive, defensive and special teams. The one I continue to focus on is third down conversions. The Eagles have lost the 3rd down conversion battles way too much this year, mostly because of the horrible play calling and sequencing. 3rd and 4 inside the 5 yard line and the "brain trust" can't see two plays ahead...it is costing games.

They were good with daniel jones then he got hurt and the wheels completely fell off.

Eagles could have Slay back before the playoffs for those worried about DB depth. I said I wasn’t a fan of the Ringo pick at the time given how stiff hipped he was in college. That said, Tucker was way off on some of his analysis today. At least half of those PIs were not PIs. Officials had it out for the Eagles today as they have all season as revenge for not being able to ban the tush push in the offseason.

Imo i have no clue what his team is going to do. I wouldn’t be shocked if they lost in the WC round and i wouldn’t be shocked if they won the whole thing. Gut feeling it feels like we squeak by next week. Kind of think that 2023 ass whipping by the niners might benefit us as guys remember it and how embarrassed they were. then lose in the divisional round to a team we are likely better than on paper.
