EMB Blog: 2025 Regular Season (Part 2) ... and Playoffs

I have a feeling he also is waiting til next week to see the result of the packers and bills games. Chance both get fired and he’d be a potential candidate for both. Arguably coaching Josh Allen is significantly better than some of the alternatives

Terry Bradshaw has totally lost it.

The NFL Voters have become so pathetic now that they gave Bijan Robinson 2 all pros this year. Get the hell out of here.

Or is it just that they invented a special boy award for CMC and did not want to give second team Taylor or Gibbs?

I’m guessing we’re rooting for the Panthers & Packers today? Best path forward for more home playoff games?

Yes yes yes, and DAL draft position with the GB pick.

The Eagles and their medical staff have dealt with lis franc injuries before though. They know how people react to them. I think they'd have just IR'd him if they thought he'd miss more than 3 games. I think they legitimately thought he'd be back in December. If it was a lis franc issue that required surgery, players just don't play through that. It would've been so unlikely and improbable. If that was the case I don't think they'd have bothered with the try to play through it route. I think they thought he'd legit be back. I'm wondering if he had some type of a setback through rehab.

Player has a say in it too, which could be complicating it.

If CAR can resurrect the running game and run it like they did earlier in the year they can control this game.

Did he say something bad about the eagles? That’s completely his shtick now

Imagine your first playoff matchup being against a team with a losing record. I don't think a team with a losing record should even be given a playoffs spot, but that's just me.

1400 rushing and almost 1000 receiving fits the bill to me.

I just kind of view it this way, I believe they said he was getting second opinion on it when the injury occurred. Which means the first opinion was probably that he needed surgery to fix it and ends his season. The second opinion, probably was you can give it a 3 week or more (hence no IR) and see how much it heals. There’s a chance it heals on its own an avoids surgery. The only thing you’re losing by not doing the surgery now and just seeing if rest works is potentially getting started in rehab later. I’m guessing if he has surgery January or early February he’d be back for start of 2026 season.

Why not run there!

Patullo is calling plays for the panthers

I smell a blowout incoming

Everyone have their cheeseheads ready for tonight?

8-9 teams absolutely should host a playoff game if they win their division and the 5th seed should get this advantage for being the best wildcard team in a year with a bad 4th division winner. Don't pretend that 9-8 teams are 25% better than 8-9 teams.

OK… Ram by 50 🤣

Interesting how the RAMs move puka around. why don't the eagles do this. seems so simple. put AJ in the backfield to get a matchup.

So Carolina game plan for the defense is to allow Puka to go for 400 yards receiving. Bold strategy

Not shocked

They used to 🤷‍♂️

I don't really ever remember that, but it's possible. seems like that should def be in the gameplan or something creative like that.

That's Hurts's fault

If you MUST change the seeding then this is the only fair way.

All teams play their division 2x and the rest of their conference once for 18 games.

Then seed the games as normal and let the team with the better record host.

ONLY LA

The Rams are 3-3 in their last 6 games and everyone is still worshiping them as a 5 seed.
