I don’t see it. The helmet is to the side of the hip.

I see extortion - that’s just football.

Leading with the crown/top of the helmet. Always been a super dangerous way to make a tackle for the defender. Easy way to get a neck injury if you get in a habit of doing that. We had a big sign in the locker room that said something to the effect of "Make sure you see what you hit."

I understand that, but the helmet seemed to slide by the hip and the shoulder did the tackling damage. Of course Randall would have kept his feet and gained more yards.

Looked like he hit him pretty square in the hip with the top of his helmet, which can put a lot of compression on the neck and spine, but I'm watching on my phone so I could be wrong about the point of contact.

Flags for playing defense are dumb

bs flag

Can't hit him high when he's defenseless.

Its shoulder to chest. Your head is connected to your body and so is his.

Its a BS call and a BS rule.

Its should be intentional only. This was not intentional of anything other than knocking the ball away with a shoulder to the chest.

So the Rams just got a free minimum of 3 pts…

Perfect coverage

Stafford started 7 of 8.

He is now 12 of 25

5 for his last 17 in a playoff game vs the 8-9 Panthers.

Stafford overthrowing crap all day. Hurts does that once and this board flames him. 😆 Haven"t heard the Tanner Brady talk too much lately. 🤔

His season has been overrated this year. They play 1 half of football, and that offense stalls for half of every game. He has missed a lot of passes. He might be the MVP in a year where the entire league really stinks.

Maybe Myles Garrett should win it.

Stole the Panthers momentum with that BS

It wasn't, he made contact with Adams' helmet. Even had a bloody lip they said and had to come out. Fair to call it a BS rule, but it's been in place for a few years now and the refs ruled correctly per the letter of the rule.

Hurts gets blamed for missing dudes during a monsoon.

He hit him with the brow of the helmet square in the facemask that's a penalty, and I can promise you, if that's an Eagle receiver you would be asking for the call.

I guess the Panthers winning is the best option but it means going on the road twice and tomorrow is the last game at the Linc for the year

Not if Packers win tonight, where they are favored. Panthers and Packers winning today is the best possible outcome. Gives us Panthers at home next week.

Stafford has always missed more routine throws than the media acknowledges, but I’m serious about the wind. It has picked up in the last hour and is seriously windy as F.

Throwing the ball more than 5 or 10 yards seems impossible.

People pretend that Stafford is a career 120-118-1 because he is a victim. Its really funny.

Unless you are Bryce Young...

I think it was a penalty, but even if he hit him square in the chest they’d likely call that defenseless receiver BS.

It sucks but DBs just gotta learn to lower the strike zone. It's even more strict in the college and high school game so it's not like it's some bizarre adjustment they have to make at this level only.
