Honestly, the biggest problem with our team is the clear lack of authority. The organization from top down has become too adaptive.

It's well known that the one very non-adaptive piece is Fangio, who is old school and demands for players to do at least certain things his way.

But a lot of the rest of our organization, from the FO down is about accommodating players. Things aren't demanded, there isn't hardball. It isn't 'do X or you can't play for me'. 'Accomplish this or you can't play for me'. There's no standard that has to be met.

I wasn't the biggest Coughlin fan in the universe, but for example there's absolutely no way he'd be okay with something like this, and whether it was effective or not, something would be done about it. Need a more demanding approach on the opposite side of the ball.
