This was a good win for the standings but it’s one of those where it feels like a loss bec the offense was so underwhelming.

The defense on the other hand was great. Phillips needs an extension now

It really didn't need to and shouldn't have gone that way. I wasn't expecting us to blow them out but it just shouldn't have been that tough

Today was disappointing for the defense in one respect:

I really like Jordan Davis. But Jalen Phillips is gonna get ALLLLLLL HIS MONEY

I don't think AJ was the primary on that fourth down call (which was stupid to begin with).

The good thing is, no one else has it either. They have some runway to somehow be competent on offense.

In isolation, the decision is inexplicable and in a way un-makeable (if that’s a word).

In context, it’s almost a sign of total insanity. They were pathologically conservative all game long. To go from one to the other makes me wonder if Siri was hallucinating.

This is the thing that pisses me off with that. First, when you had the possession before, run it on second down. Make them at least burn another timeout. So they only have one time out left. So then if you throw it on third down and don’t get it then they only have one timeout

you get the ball back. instead of running a play lIke a slant with Aj brown, the stupidity of all time stupidity is to go deep. we’re in week 10 and our coaching staff still doesn’t understand the hardest route to cover AJ Brown on is the slant. And yet how many did they run tonight and throw it to him? Maybe 1 or Zero.

This shouldn’t be that hard. There are teams dying to have the talent that we do and their offense is more consistent than ours. And they can function. So now we have the ineptitude from our offense, our offensive coordinator and absolute stupidity from our head coach. I’ve never been more irritated and irked after a win then watching what happened the last 3.5 minutes of this game

I really just hate how that 4th down felt like such a forced play to appease AJ. People can act like it’s all media driven, but seeing dumb ish like that makes it hard to ignore.

Is it to early to re-sign Phillips?

If the eagles win the Super Bowl this year, it’s going to be ugly.

A lot of defense, a lot of stalled offense, and basically the eagles out grind the opposition 1-4 point wins.
