Frankly probably doesn’t help that he probably compensating in his other knee which is now sore. He is what he is at this point. Injury prone and isn’t capable of staying consistently healthy

Why do they keep giving him contract extensions? I’ve been out on Embiid since he sat out two games of that Raptors series because his tummy hurt, then the Raptors win the series in 7 games and go on to win the NBA Championship — on the back of ONE F’N GUY!! Kawhi Leonard and a collection of scrubs.

When he threw all of his teammates under the bus after that playoff exit and said he and Harden can’t do it all by themselves — everyone should have been out on him. He has zero heart whatsoever and is a net negative towards anything the organization is trying to build. He should be the least popular player in all of Philly sports.

Other than that, I’m fairly neutral on him. The NBA isn’t a serious league, anyway.

Not surprised they went rogue as reading sirianni’s lips after the play it looked like he was confused

I think people have to accept the fact that it’s not always going to be pretty, especially on offense, but this team excels in high leverage situations as the season progresses. And the defense will always keep them in games, which will only continue to get better in my opinion.

No other team scares me, but I would be deeply concerned if they run into the Rams again in the playoffs.

Rams may be a problem both as it relates to the 1 seed and playing them again.

I would like that to be in Philly.

They are still light on D and hopefully we can push them around better the next time.

They are like an 8-8 Cowboys team that puts up 45 in mismatches and 17 in tough games

This is amusing but expected. Are teams (good, bad, or mediocre) expected to score higher point totals against tougher opponents?

Tbh the worst one was the last extension. He had a major knee issue and then just gave it to him anyway.

Ojomo splits the LG and the Center. The Center appears to be who knocks him down. The LG is also down on the ground because he likely whiffed on Ojomo. As I understand the inside zone, the back side blocking should be an initial double-team that allows either the G or C to move up to the second level. Sealing off the backside allows for a cut back lane.

Ojomo, by splitting the double team he took away from the outset any cut back lane. Carter blew up the play on the front side but it was still a good play by Ojomo because there was no where for Jacobs to go. If Ojomo was stood up on the play, the penetration on the front side may not have stopped the play.

The LG is on the ground on top of Ojomo. However, let us wait on the All-22 for a better angle before continuing the argument. I promise to post it .

Regarding Hurts’ fumble last night, there are fumbles, and there are bad fumbles. Do you think his fumble last night was a bad fumble?

No. I consider it more flukey than anything.

I think it is 75 on top of him. 75 is the Center, Sean Rhyan. I agree we will have a clearer view from the all-22.

Seems 3 things last night were glaringly obvious.

  1. The Hurts fumble was fluky

  2. Hurts/Brown called the 4th down deep shot

  3. The PI call on Campbell was 100% legit

The fact that any of the 3 is debatable is shocking to me

It still doesn't explain the decision to go for it.

It's bad because he could have easily just gone down. Instead, he fought for that extra yard, increasing his chances of getting hurt and fumbling. With that being said, that was an elite defensive play. He punched that ball perfectly on the way down.

I took your comment to be about AJ and Hurts. Sirianni sent them on the field to go for it on 4th down regardless of the playcall.

Any indication that Hurts nor Brown respect/agree with the calls coming in? Passing that beyond stupid but the offense still seems to struggle mightily

They score 45 and everyone says they are a great team and Super Bowl bound.

Then they lose all 3 tough games and score around 17 each time.

That is not to be expected from great teams.

Yeah. It's interesting how conservative Hurts is during games and in that spot he decides to call that. Maybe he saw Rudy this week.

FYI:

I just got my email from YouTube about my $20 credit. Everyone check your emails. Just have to login, go to settings, then the update tab on the bottom and apply it.

I've gotten email (Nov 9th) telling me to expect the credit but I have not received the email with the actual credit and/or instructions on how to apply it. Thx for keeping us informed.

Question on the 4th down play.

Is the play call the bad thing or the coach going for it instead of punting?

When I think Philly converting 4th and long, its pretty much Hurts to AJ that works.

The real delusion is thinking that Eagles receivers are going to just get open 10 yards downfield because you want them to.
