For me, it was the idea that he had something left in the tank. With this dline I was hoping for something better than Jackson and Ringo. The chance at a decent 2 CB.

Realistically speaking, you are spot on with your opinion

Of course, that's always the dream when you buy a scratcher. Nothing wrong with that. Then you scratch it, reality sets in, and you move on with your real life and the dream is over.

The real hope at the trade deadline for me was Phillips, and he came through in spades last night. Just hope he can stay healthy. Then the question comes to whether or not (and for how much) they resign him.

What are NFL trade rules regarding this? If certain health issues weren’t disclosed can we get our pick back?

I wouldn't be surprised if the Eagles will pursue some course of action against the Ravens. No matter what the rules say, they can probably claim the Ravens had some knowledge of this. No idea, but I bet they pursue it.

Asked in the other thread but you all don't venture out of this

Do we get our pick back or a comp pick? He didn't have a snap so wouldn't this void the trade?

They were able to years ago when they traded for WR Marquise Goodwin spelling?) who retired. Got the pick back.

Curious what will happen here.

Sign Gilmore

My prediction for 2026 offseason top priorities…

  1. RT

  2. WR

  3. Edge (Until Phillips is signed)

  4. CB

  5. TE

I can't imagine they'd make the Eagles forfeit the pick. He's been here a week and didn't play a single snap

Must be the most dysfunctional locker room to have two vets who came in from the outside then retire in season. That in season Hard Knocks in a few weeks should give us a peak behind the curtain.

Where is the leadership from QB1?

If we played you guys 10 times we would win 9. Love had Jacobs wide open on a screen play and he would have went for a Touchdown had he caught it. Eagles aren’t that good.

Not that it matters but there is this weird narrative going around that the Rams are somehow a cut above the Eagles. No mention that the Eagles beat the Rams not only this year but the last 4 times or so in a row. Just seems like a weird take that became popular.

And Barkley would have scored if Parsons didn't karate kick him.

The Eagles are better than the Packers. Sucks to suck dude. Your defense is really good. Your offense blows ass. Be mad at Love and your GM for failing to get a competent WR1 for the past 15 years, not us for pointing out the obvious.

Easy there Cowboy fan…the blog has been tolerant because you have been mostly respectful…making fun of needy underprivileged children is a bridge too far for me. I worked with and inside those communities for years…I understand the effects of long term trauma and harm children experience when basics needs are not getting met.

I really wouldn't do that purposely, quite the opposite. My wife's first job was with Texas CPS, then she worked for CASA, they both became too emotionally taxing, I saw a lot just through her experience. Since she moved on from that job she has worked for a local non-profit for the last 25 years that provides a medical clinic for the needy, a food pantry, emergency assistance (rent, utilities, etc.).

The company I work for will donate a day twice a year, one for her agency, and one to another nearby. We stock the pantry at the other one, and for her agency sort all the collected Christmas toys/presents for distribution to those families that would otherwise not get much if anything. It isn't much, but I know it makes a difference to someone. I myself grew up from the age of 4 - 9 in a childrens home until our mom was able to get us back from the state, so yeh, I get it. Sorry folks.

Your offense was scared of our defense too lol. They couldn’t move the ball.

Meh they're playing really well right now and our offense has been really hit or miss. I don't mind it. All that matters is who is hot and healthy come playoffs.

I have a feeling whoever wins the Rams/Seahawks game this week will be the #1 ranked team on a lot of power rankings.

I’m definitely rooting for the Lions when they play you all this week.

You guys don’t have much to say because we bullied you all on the field. You guys got lucky.

After all the Eagle fans talking trash all offseason bashing us on the Tush Push stuff I will even root for our division when they play the Eagles.

My apologies Aptos, and the rest of the folks here on the board, I sincerely apologize. It was completely meant light heartedly. I didn't realize he was visiting challenged children (economic, emotionally, physically, mentally, or otherwise). I honestly thought he was visiting a local school, I didn't read the whole tweet/artcle.

Dont mind aptos. He is very self righteous. We can joke in here.

This was Hurt's 3rd game scoring 10 or less in 75 starts. 4.0%

McNabb had 20 games of scoring 10 or less in 142 starts. 14.1% (19 and 13.5% if you don't count Rams 2004)

Manning had 10 in 208 with Indy for 4.8%

Brady had 14 of 203 in New England (12 if you ignore a couple week 17s) 6.9% or 6.0%

Love has 4 in 42 starts for 9.5%

Burrow has 6 in 71 for 8.5%

Stafford has 5 in 66 starts with the Rams for 7.6%

2024 media darling Justin Fields is at 19.2%
