Agree completely, but as is the case every offseason...if they just get 2 really good players in the draft at any of those positions and get serviceable fillers at the others, that's a big win.

Lane Johnson, Phillips, AJ Brown, and Goedert....4 guys manning those positions now...figure 3/4 of them will be gone, useless, or hurt next year. But 1 of them may be here and doing the job.

So 2 in draft, 1 still here, and the best you can with 2 FAs and a midseason rental and I figure Howie will get good players in all those spots.

WR is my biggest concern there. Devonta Smith was a slam dunk off sheer productivity and I'm still not sure they can draft that position. Not to mention, their offense doesn't exactly pass in a way that allows a young WRs career to cultivate and take off. They might almost be better off just drafting some mid round #3 with upside and speed and rolling with Dotson as the #2 next year (is he even under contract though?). I think he'd be fine considering how little we throw anyway. Seems wasteful to invest in more than 1 WR.

No actual Packers fan would be a Lions fan when the Packers are 5-3-1 and the Lions are 6-3
