In what plane of the multiverse are you referring to where the higher seed in the conference has to travel in the playoffs? Packers will be lucky to get a wildcard spot. Go the F back to your Cow & Cheese Message Board.

If he wants home field for GB in the playoffs then he should be rooting for the Eagles to beat the Lions this week.

You make me smile! Life for you is a series of absolutes. Nothing grey in your black and white world. It has taken a while to get used to, but it’s a pleasure to behold.

Thanks Dr. Freud

No Packer fan likes the Eagles. I know plenty of 49er fans who despise Philly too and Patriot fans as well. Viking fans hate you guys too.

You know we dig that, right?

I highly doubt Howie makes this trade if he had any idea of his headspace. With how much they use Big Dom and their usual process, it would be surprising.

I’d guess he’s just washed and slowly realizing it. Kinda like Shaq don’t call me Darius Leonard

I just have a harder time believing Alexander after a week of practice decided he was going to step away. I imagine with a decision this big in his life, it has been on his mind for a while.

They got him and a 7th for a 6th. Howie has good relations with the Ravens. I'm guessing Howie knew this dude was a big risk and the super low price was indicative of that risk being baked in.

We love our SB trophy, though. I'm sure Mr GB loves his first round exit participation trophy last year as well

As you know, it's trophies, plural. Almost as many as we have pre-super bowl trophies.

I like to sum it up as we are 2 out of 3 over the LAST 8.

And positioned well enough to go for 3 out 4 over 9. The last nine. Just a reminder for all those teams thinking about their halcyon days.

I kind of think howie probably talk to Alexander. I’m guessing Alexander probably gave him some insight into his thinking. Like you said big risk but a super low price so he took the shot that new team, back with Parker and on a contender he might keep playing and hopefully play well

I appreciate @Joe Ball so much more now…is this the same troll that got banned last year in the Playoffs?

Yeh I’m pretty sure it’s the same guy that showed up during WC week. As others have said he sounds pretty young. Hopefully as he matures he’ll appreciate other fan bases and understand that there is a lot more to being a fan than just screaming as loud and as long as possible that his team is greatest ever.

It’s a great big world out there @MrGreenBay , the more people you interact with the more enjoyable life can be. You can still be a fan of your team while getting to know other team’s fans. I wish you luck with that because you never who you might make friends with.

I asked this before. You used to come on here and make a lot of random posts kissing ass like a beyotch, and now you’re acting like a jilted beyotch. What’s your deal? Just an attention seeker? What gives?

Is this actually one of my ex wives?

No. He’s a legit GB fan. He shows up every time the Eagles play the Packers and always overstays his welcome.

He finally took a new turn and instead of constantly asking "do you guys think we can beat the Vikings/Lions?” he’s going with this shtick. He’s literally 14 and the Eagles broke him.

Just in case you are a teen @Mr. Green Bay, we are just having fun. Don't get too twisted over an L and the jibes, here.

I don’t doubt it’s been on his mind for a while. Just judging from his comments a week ago and everything that happened since it seems like he was hiding his true feelings.

#freeshocker

So I guess this would clear the roster spot needed to activate Jakorian Bennett.

Saw some social media posts worrying about Alexander's mental health, especially after the Keeland situation. You never know what someone is going through. I hope he gets the help he needs.

FYI:

I just got my email from YouTube about my $20 credit. Everyone check your emails. Just have to login, go to settings, then the update tab on the bottom and apply it.

Also its possible to get a $10 monthly discount on your YT TV subscription for 6 months. I saw it on a YT video and worked for me.

If you login to your YT TV account on a computer or tablet, go to settings and under Membership there is a link that says MANAGE. Click on it and you might have a promotional offer for $10 off your monthly subscription for 6 months. Not sure if everyone gets it but I did and it worked.

I wonder why people think we're joking. when we say we'd rather be us against the world.

Asked in the other thread but you all don't venture out of this

Do we get our pick back or a comp pick? He didn't have a snap so wouldn't this void the trade?

Who knows? The NFL will decide, and probably at their own convenience.

Delusion.

Liking is not very high on the NFL attributes list. The players of the various teams genuinely like one another, and overtly display that camaraderie at the end of each game.

What the fans feel is irrelevant.

With that Sid, all the Packers fans at our local sports bar were beyond friendly to this Eagles fan wearing his #92 jersey. Just because you are an a-hole doesn’t mean other Packers fans are.

I said it was cold blooded to not dress him and allow him to travel against his former team. Seems he took that extremely personally.

You may want to read the following assessment by Tommy Lawlor.

"Jaire Alexander didn’t travel with the Eagles when they went to Green Bay. That seemed odd at the time. The team leaked that he was focusing on getting healthy and learning the defense. We found out there is more to the story.

This all makes sense now.

Alexander is a 2-time Pro Bowl player. He’s been a star. Now he’s coming off an injury and having to fight just to get back on the field. That’s not easy to deal with,

physically, mentally or emotionally. Football isn’t a casual sport. You must be all-in to succeed. Think about how hard it must be to go from star player to guy battling to play.

I’m sure Alexander thought the change of scenery would bring out the best in him. He’d be reunited with DBs coach Christian Parker. He would go to a team that is known for getting the best out of veteran acquisitions.

The flip side is that the Eagles are an ultra-competitive team. Nothing is given. Alexander may have seen how things operate in Philly and wondered if he’s still up to it. Veteran players sometimes struggle as their body breaks down and they have to decide what they want to do. Jason Kelce has told some stories like that. Alexander isn’t that old, but his health isn’t ideal for a CB.

The Eagles will be patient with him. They can activate Jakorian Bennett and bring him back to the mix. That would give them another veteran CB for depth. Alexander can figure out if he wants to play or to walk away”

If you have never seen DeVonta play in college, go look at the Championship game highlights vs Ohio State.

They could not cover him.

If we played you guys 10 times we would win 9. Love had Jacobs wide open on a screen play and he would have went for a Touchdown had he caught it. Eagles aren’t that good.

Actually.....we have beaten you guys the last 4 times we've played.....so really we only have to play 6 more times. If the Eagles go just 3-3 in those games, we would be 7-3. See, I can be stupid too! Go back to your ice fishing....

Who has more Super Bowls this Century? God you almost sound like a pathetic Cowboys fan constantly living in the past.

Ok, now Phillips can take #18.. Jaire, we barely knew you.

Vic's scheme seems to be hard for new guys to pick up (every new vet in the secondary looks rough the first couple of games), and maybe Vic doesn't sugar coat criticism if you're screwing up, I guess Alexander's fragile anyway after his last 2 years with the Packers and then having his fresh start cut short by being traded for a 6th mid season and he just decided he'd had enough.
