then trading AJ is realistic this offseason. It's pretty much definite after 2026, but could happen after this season. I could see getting a nice package of picks,

I don’t see a package, I would think it would be similar to the Pickens trade without the 5th, unless financials make it different.

Surprised that's the first complaining about complaining about the ugly win post I've seen this week lol

Why do we always play the whiners on the road unless it's playoffs

They came here in 2023. They basically were the start to the collapse, especially walking through player warmups with no Eagle doing a damn thing.

Well it could be something like a 1st and a 3rd which is what they gave the Titans. Sometimes the extra pick is conditional. Howie will know how to get a good deal out of it.

I said he wasn't going to be traded - right

I said his teammates don't have an issue with AJ. Devonta and many others have come out publicly and talk about how much they love him. And it has been widely reported by everyone who covers the team how much the locker room loves him - right

I said Howie has no plans to trade him. Howie said after the deadline "We don't trade away players like that." - right

I said AJ is frustrated with the offense, but likes being in Philly. He has said publicly he likes being here and his coaches have said he likes being here - right.

#AlwaysRight #SoMuchWinning

And when he's here next season I'll be right yet again. And you'll just drop it and move on to the next thing to get hysterical about. As you always do. Stay losing.

No one in the organization is going to speak publicly if they uave an issue with AJ's constant public whining because no one else on the team is the level of a self centered mental midget that AJ is.

I'm sure we will hear plenty about it through anonymous sources once the offseason hits though amd once he is off the team as well.

No one expected AJ to be traded at the deadline. He is almost definitely gone before next season as many of the beat reporters agree is the most likely outcome.

AJ likes being here so much that he feels the need to make the public aware of just how unhappy he is despite the team winning.

Like I said, there is not another poster on this board that comes close to the delusion level of denial that you are at regarding this entire AJ Brown situation.

Unless there is internal fracturing going on that’s being covered up, I think it’d be stupid to move on from AJ. If Howie plans to do it though, I damn sure hope he’s figured out how to draft a receiver when he doesn’t have the luxury of a top 10 pick. Aside from Smitty, who he took at 10, his receiver drafting has left a lot to be desired.

Would it be a distraction if the media didn't report it?

I don't watch him streaming games. Do you?

I'd see his frustrations on the field and I'd agree with him but I don't check his private life like the media does

Okay, so now we are going to blame the media for doing their job instead of holding a grown man accountable for maintaining a minimum expected level of professionalism?

AJ Brown isn't an idiot. He knows how social media works. He knows it will be licked up and talked about when he does things like this. This is fully intentional by him. This isn't done in private life at some family BBQ, this is all done on public accounts where there are many people following.

Wentz throwing 4k yds to trash cans is still fresh in my mind. I don't want to go back to trash cans lol please don't make me

He's not an idiot. He is fully aware that he's in the spotlight and it's just a matter of time before the stuff blows up. He needs to just stop.

We scored 10 f'ing points Monday, everyone on earth understands it can be a lot better. He's the only one crying about it in public over and over and over.

The coaches don't need the added pressure, especially not Patullo who might not know his arse from a hole in the ground. Maybe AJ should call him directly and sort it out like a man instead of crying to *checks notes* Janky Rondo.

But hey I wonder if the Madden version of AJ dogged it on his routes and just stopped running too

I have no desire to go back there either.

That’s the secondary problem to trading him away. Is that you have to replace him. We have done a poor job drafting and developing wr since 2016. Howie has done a lot of great things via trade and drafting, but besides smith it’s not been very good. And Moorehead hasn’t done much to develop guys outside of brown and smith.

Add on goedert may leave and Aj if traded. That means you essentially have to replace both of those into that offense. That’s a lot to replace add onto the fact Blankenship is an unrestricted free agent going into this off-season. Dean has a replacement in Campbell but Vic really loves Dean and Baun together. Lane Johnson we don’t know if he’s gonna retire or if he is gonna come back. That’s a lot to replace in one off-season and expect them to just hit the ground running and be where they are now as the Super Bowl contender.

Watch what a real QB could do to the Packers. smoke

(Also note a brief shot of Doug Pederson on the GB sideline.)

I guess there are levels you consider then because haven't other players come out publicly and said the offense isn't good to some degree?

AJ Wide open here. Hurts doesn't even look his way. There are several of these per game.

I do think that if Howie gets a good enough offer and can make the financials work (he managed the Wentz contract cap hit after the trade) then trading AJ is realistic this offseason. It's pretty much definite after 2026, but could happen after this season. I could see getting a nice package of picks, drafting a TE to pair with Smitty, Dotson and drafting a young WR mid-round. They will have Barkley, Bigsby and Shipley returning and if they beef up the O line they can return to dominant run game.

How about Howie gets a real OC and he stays and is happy along with the rest of us

I would say that your question is your answer. The fact that you can't even think of any examples off the top of your head indicates that no one else has made nearly as big of a deal of it as AJ.

Yes, there have been other players to speak out critically about the offense, but it's usually in response to a question that stemmed from an AJ quote in the first place

I get AJ being conflicted. He’s a top 5 WR having the impact of a top 50 WR and he’s expected to run 30+ routes a game full speed with a nagging hamstring injury, and knowing damn well he’s not getting the ball. He’s already midway through his prime - the time is now.

I’m sure he appreciates winning, but he got to where he got to by working to be the best. Expecting him to be okay with catching 2-3 balls a game is unreasonable.

I’d absolutely sacrifice Patullo to make AJ happy. We're going to lose a superstar WR1 because Patullo thinks he’s coordinating the Gronk/Hernandez Patriots.

Yes, but not to the degree of him. AJ Brown is not one to keep his mouth shut. It's just not who he is. The Eagles have known this since 2022 and made him one of the highest paid WRs in football. They have accepted that part of his personality as a part of the AJ Brown experience. If the offense continues to suck there are going to be more moments where he speaks up about it. The Eagles know this.

I believe Smith said something similar. Pretty sure Lane has spoken up. I think Mailata has. Did I need to give specific player names?? lol

Well that's why I said that. Some players have spoken up to some degree

Reading the Blog on Monday and Tuesday, one has to conclude that the Eagles suffered a devastating loss on Monday. Oh woe is us, they were "outplayed” on defense and offense. Oh my, they must have been outgained by GB on the ground and in the air. Must have been that play going for it on fourth down with a half a minute in the fourth.

Wait, I don’t have YouTube and watched the Manning simulcast. Game I watched, they won. Against the pundits favorite to reach the SuperBowl for the NFC. Held them to 7 points. Great defensive showing by both teams. But Micah "Trip” Parsons got GB over the hump to favorites. Hey Micah, held Jacobs to 74 yards. When we add in Shipley and Tank, the Eagles outgained the Packers backs. But Trip, your sacks made the difference, right? Wrong! ZERO.

Now Hurts was a bit off but the coverage was pretty good by GB. Hurts did outproduce Love. AJ didn’t look quite right. I think his hammy isn’t quite there yet.

I am clearly in the minority but I loved the last play. Suspect Nick was scheming for Goedert but Hurts believed in his compadre and went for,the dagger. Let’s look at the options. Kick FG. Nasty wind, possibility of a block. Miss and GB gets the ball at the 45 needing three to tie it (think 54:yard FG attempt instead of 64), also closer for a Hail Mary. Punt? Clearly safer, right. GB had already gotten close to Mann twice and one shank. Best case is an angle out of bounds. I like Mann but he is no Donnie Jones. If he takes the safe kick, through the end zone, they gain fourteen yards. Daboll just got fired for being "safe” and losing a game. Going for it showed faith in the team. Stupid Beats and pundits don’t like it but I guarantee the team did.

Love what JP added. Eagles have a serious five man rotation at OLB right now.

The issue with the 4 and 6 play is you're trying to drop it in AJ's lap right down the sideline throwing into the wind, why would you try a throw that required that much precision in those conditions at that point in the game? Surely you go empty and have AJ and Smitty run clear outs and have Goedert, Saquon and Dotson run shallow crosses and drags in the space underneath where you've got a margin of error, hell have Dotson run the go route and take AJ across the field and see what he can do with it, we only had to get 6 yards and the games done.

Campbell is good in coverage and already isn't too large, could he slim down a little more and he a safety?

Yeah don’t see them remotely doing that. If anything they’d try as an edge rusher. They’ve been using him more there with dean’s return. So I’m guessing he’s way more likely to add bulk.

He was good when he had a book. I mean the guy has mental problems but he wasn't acting out like this. It also took the offense half a season to get going last year as well. Who knows. Basically, I'll take every chance I have to take a shot at KP right now.
