Maybe I’m not following the NFL as much as I used to…but league wide…is it just me or is this sort of a low impact unimpressive rookie class so far?

You say that, but Jake Browning put up nigh on 2000 yards and 12TD's with a 98.4 rating standing in for the Bengals in 7 starts in '23. and he never did anything similar anywhere else ever.

Looks like Daniels could be back for both late Eagles games but that team isn’t good regardless

I don't care what the down/distance/field position is, in no way shape or form should a QB lob a rainbow across the entire field directly at a DB who has 100 yards of green grass in front of him. That was a monumentally stupid play that should have been a pick 6.

We just traded a 3 for Jaelen Phillips.

If healthy it's not a bad addition by any means. Definite upgrade over what we have and with Graham/Nolan coming back our DL should see improvement.

Not big on giving up a 3rd, but oh well

don't like the cost but needed a big move there.

Tbh if they completely fall out of contention for a playoff spot then they really shouldn’t play him. He's been banged up all year and why risk a major injury and potentially his 2026 season on games that would essentially be meaningless.

Is it possible that Howie's still not done?

I know Howie is against mid-season extensions, but I would be OK if this trade was announced with an extension for Phillips. Big fan of his coming out of college, but he's underwhelmed and been injury prone. Buy low with an extension before it's too late?

It’s our 3 per ZBerm.

Dislike the Phillips deal, even acknowledging we'd likely get a 5th back in 2027. Is Phillips better than Patrick Johnson and Azeez? Sure. Is he good anymore? No.

Only real plus is that there is no learning curve for this defense. He can likely play right away.

I’m hoping it’s our 3rd rounder and not the jets one. That said I’m guessing the eagles view it as they give up a 3rd and if they extend him then it’s worth it. If they don’t extend him good chance someone pays him in FA as he’s just 26 and they’ll get a comp pick in 2027 as he’s just 26, a pass rusher
