Monday at 12:18 PM1 day Maybe I’m not following the NFL as much as I used to…but league wide…is it just me or is this sort of a low impact unimpressive rookie class so far?

Monday at 12:30 PM1 day Looks like Daniels could be back for both late Eagles games but that team isn’t good regardless

In most cases, it's stupid to intercept a 4th down pass, so throw something up for grabs.UhhhI don't care what the down/distance/field position is, in no way shape or form should a QB lob a rainbow across the entire field directly at a DB who has 100 yards of green grass in front of him. That was a monumentally stupid play that should have been a pick 6.
Monday at 12:33 PM1 day If healthy it's not a bad addition by any means. Definite upgrade over what we have and with Graham/Nolan coming back our DL should see improvement. Not big on giving up a 3rd, but oh well

They are going to lose next week to the Lions to drop to 3-7 and Daniels is out for an extended period if not the season. In fact, it would be stupid for them to bring him back after four weeks when they are 4-9 or whatever. Tough luck for them but a lucky break for the Eagles as it makes the 2nd half of the year a good bit easier.Looking ahead, Washington's 2026 draft picks currently are a first, a third, a fifth, two sixths, and a seventh. This for the oldest team in the league. Even without Danny Boy they're a train wreck or dumpster fire, take your pick.Meanwhile, even after Howie's flurry of trades, the Eagles own their first, second, three thirds, two fourths, two fifths, and a seventh. This for the second or third youngest team in the league.
Monday at 12:35 PM1 day Hopefully it’s the "lowest 3 available” for Phillips. We have ours, the Jets’ and a comp 3. If we give up the Jets’ 3 it’s a bad deal.

He's been banged up all year and why risk a major injury and potentially his 2026 season on games that would essentially be meaningless.

Monday at 12:39 PM1 day I like the move, definitely a lot of upside. Is it possible that Howie's still not done?
Monday at 12:40 PM1 day I know Howie is against mid-season extensions, but I would be OK if this trade was announced with an extension for Phillips. Big fan of his coming out of college, but he's underwhelmed and been injury prone. Buy low with an extension before it's too late?

Monday at 12:42 PM1 day We gave up a third for an injury prone player, who is a UFA at the end of the year? Not sure I like that set up.
Monday at 12:44 PM1 day Dislike the Phillips deal, even acknowledging we'd likely get a 5th back in 2027. Is Phillips better than Patrick Johnson and Azeez? Sure. Is he good anymore? No.Only real plus is that there is no learning curve for this defense. He can likely play right away.

Not sure I like that set up.I’m hoping it’s our 3rd rounder and not the jets one. That said I’m guessing the eagles view it as they give up a 3rd and if they extend him then it’s worth it. If they don’t extend him good chance someone pays him in FA as he’s just 26 and they’ll get a comp pick in 2027 as he’s just 26, a pass rusher
