I'm not an OC but I did stay at a Holiday Inn last night (not actually, but ....)

This shouldn't be complicated stuff; just stay ahead of the sticks. If there are 7 in the box, you give the ball to Barkley and get 4-5 yards to set up 2nd and easy. If there is a stacked box, you run play action and a high-percentage short pass.

You simply have to make defenses pay for stacking the LOS.

That's on Hurts to count the box and check into the right call.

that also works if you replace OC with QB. We have seen this same frustrating lack of passing game with other OCs. There is one constant.

Yeah, I can't remember the last year where he lasted the entire season. I'm sure we'll see McKee at some point if he doesn't start sliding. People think Brown is a distraction. If he comes in and lights things up it's going to another level.

People think Im too harsh, but that 1st drive didnt impress me. It was another of those harder than it should be drives. I wasnt encouraged that theyd be able to move the ball all game based on that drive, and that was the right read on things as the game wore on.

It seemed clear that GB wanted our offense to methodically drive the field vs 2H zone, which just isn't our thing - so I was pleased with how that drive was going... no negative run plays, successfully finding receiving options underneath. Impressive, no - NFL offense, yes.

The QB that is the one constant of the frustrating continued winning during the most successful period in Eagles history including 2 Super Bowl runs.

I love how miserable it makes you watching all the success he brings. There is something very beautiful about the fact that this period will continue to last for more years and during the entire time you will get little to no enjoyment from any of it. Couldn't happen to a more deserving person.

I think GB would introduce a safety late to mess up the box math, and we generally don't give ourselves a lot of time on the play clock to counter their counter.

Half of the fans want players to be more forthright and don’t like coach speak answers like what Jalen does - Proud of the guys battling tonight, that’s a top defence after a miserable offensive performance…(I don’t think he is actually content with that performance)

The other half hate when a player says he is frustrated with the offensive performance and they won’t win another SB unless they improve on offense (we think that)

I don't mind when players speak out a little, but AJ just comes off as an immature diva at times. Like, they haven't been feeding him much this season, and when he actually had a big game, instead of saying something like "more of this please." he rattles off "using me, but not really using me." So, it's like he's going to complain regardless. We've seen other players complain, so it's not like players can't do so, but other guys don't endlessly whine like Brown has been doing.

Which he's been doing since last season. The only difference this year is the run game is god awful

Im wondering if we get one of those surprise offense games this Sunday night. As the eagles have a knack for elevating their play in big games.

Its so bad that I dont expect anything spectacular, suddenly. But we might see improvement that is juuust enough to get a win.

This team always seems to respond when the fire is the hottest. They feed off the criticism. I believe it was Hurts last year something to the effect that they love shutting up the haters

I remember discussing this with someone a couple of weeks ago. It is a 100% boom or bust offense due to the limitations of Jalen Hurts as discussed this morning in this topic.

How does that make any sense to you? Wasn't Jalen Hurts the Eagles QB for all those years bunched together in the middle?

Best to just throw that troll on ignore.

So I hear they are playing the Lions this week

To the observer, yes, but really the pursuit of inner excellence.

Smith is good, but Brown gets a lot of focus from defenses that won't happen when he's gone. We are lucky to have them both even with these distractions. It's up to the OC to get things moving because many other teams would be doing a lot more with what they have.

Not as easy as just snapping one’s fingers. We’ve seen this for three years now and three different OCs. I do agree that they need to make a change given the way Ds are playing them this year and with the OL taking a step back in run blocking. That probably will result in more interceptions and sacks but at some point they won’t have a choice. Might happen on Sunday.

Not going to beat the two teams we already beat.

You will never know how many MORE super bowls I could have enjoyed with a real QB at the helm of this incredibly talented offense. AJ Brown recognizes this.

I guess Packers' fans are still in the this is their year delusions.

All I know is that during the offseason I said that packers fans are a bunch of whiny, passive aggressive b****es, but this guy is totally proving me wrong.

Eagles have improved but so have they and they didn't beat Seattle yet.

Would the other top QBs in the league be doing better with KP as OC? Possibly. Would the other top OCs be doing better with this talent? Absolutely. He has everything an OC could dream of and are last in the league in 3 and outs. It's time to make a change if that only means bringing in a "consultant".

Pretty ridiculous. They’ve already beaten 2 of the 3 and are a better team now than they were then.

I’m perfectly fine with them having to get past Sam Darnold.

Bucs have not improved.

Rams are already below us in the standings and have 4 tough NFC games remaining. All likelihood is they would habe to come back to Philadelphia in the playoffs. I don't see what has changed where we can now not beat the Rams in the playoffs.

Instead ill just know of the Super Bowls you haven't been able to enjoy and won't be able to enjoy in the near future. Hopefully you are stuck watching those in a hotel room too to make it extra miserable for you.
