Good news. I got an email back from VABeach_Eagle, he is ok. He has been tending to his mother's health as she's been in the hospital, and exhausted lately. He says he will be more available to log on

Will Hurts pull the trigger on a third down pass here?

Run up the middle

It's there for Barkley on the edges, it doesn't even have to be some fancy call

Are you smarter than an NFL OC!

Yes BTW, you are

Wow the OL is just terrible

He doesn't want to risk that against the best team in the NFL.

The Patriots? The Broncos? The Colts? The Rams?

He shouldn't be playing. I'm tired of them playing people who aren't ready.

The strength of their run defense is inside: Reader, McNeil, Williams, etc.

patullo just doesn't appear to be able to figure this team out like Moore was able to do last year.

The lions defense is banged up and terrible and we can’t move the ball. I’m over this offense

Barkley gets far too many carries. If he’s going to average like 3.5ypc, there is no value in high utilization.

Go with a rotation and fresh legs. Preserves Barkley and might even make him better.

I was surprised too but I think the Eagles D and the windy conditions may have played a factor. Who has the wind in the 2nd quarter?

Also they know the eagles offense isn’t going to put up a lot of points, so no need to take risks.

Yep. Toth until he's ready

Man their D line is in our backfield immediately on run plays. Going to have to keep passing to open the run.

The offense:

Two weeks in a row of heavy wind games, and we still can't figure out how to run the ball. At least we get the quarter change to give the D some rest before this 3 and out

Pathetic.

I cannot take any more of this two wing run up the middle BS. The fact that they haven't yet figured out it is massively predictable and doesn't work is alarming.

The Eagles will be going towards the closed end of the stadium in the 2nd quarter. The wind is more swirling, and more of a problem at the open end than the closed end.

Detroit is going to score. Only a matter of time.

I sincerely question whether we will or not at this rate.

or like 28+ NFL OCs can every year

Our best matchups are all in the passing game. Running up the middle seems like a fool’s errand tonight.

OL has been poor tonight.

Folks, our offensive line is a problem.

Jurgens was really slow on that pull earlier. He’s nowhere near right.
