The three early drops didn't help. It's just always something with this group

At least no one slipped this week.

Good news. I got an email back from VABeach_Eagle, he is ok. He has been tending to his mother's health as she's been in the hospital, and exhausted lately. He says he will be more available to log on

As long as the Eagles can capitalize on their opportunities and score TDs and not FGs … they should be ok. I am confident the defense will regroup and adjust. I think the Lions have been more effected by the wind than the Eagles.

Yeah, our offense looks out of sync every week. thumbsup

That's the spirit

Come on D.....hope they adjusted to what they did that last drive.

That’s true. Barkley isn’t a great receiver but he probably makes life easier for the passing game as you said. Scary to think of what it might look like without him consistently on the field to draw the defense into the box.

That’s the worry, and why I was really hoping to target a talented RB early in this past draft.

Being a ground and pound offense with a stout defense is a winning formula, but you need to be able to survive an injury to your lead back.

I’d look to do the same this offseason, though I doubt we will with Barkley, Bigsby and Shipley all returning and holes at CB, TE, EDGE, slot receiver, and long term needs on the OL.

Yeah. At that thing they call "play-action passing" looks to be very effective. We should try that.

Yup on one of the Lions 2 big passing plays I saw Reed come up to support the run late and get caught in no man’s land…if the front 7 can keep playing tough against the run..the DBs can sit back a bit and keep everything in front of them.

We have seen good eagles passing offenses still have good days in the wind.

Lions are a good passing team. We arent. The wind will affect what they want to do more than us. But, the Lions will also still make big plays since our CB2 sucks.

Need a few more drives on offense, and a few more stops by the D.

The entire league is built around offense. And yes I realize our offense is not performing to its potential, everyone knows that. But every time our opponent scores ONE score, fans freak out thinking they're scared of their offense. Offenses score. That's how it works in the nfl. Our defense is playing great. And our offense has scored more than them so far.

Just win. I don't care if its pretty or ugly at this point. (OK, I do but I'll get over it if we win)

Then the schedule gets way easier with Dallas, Vegas, 2 DCs, and Chicago (who is beating up bad teams)

The Chargers don't scare me. Buffalo will be a good game.

6 catches for 43 yards is the most unimpressive most number of catches in a half for AJ Brown.

Lane OUT for the game now.

Lions are moving again. They are going to have to keep up now

Lane out rest of the game.

Probably should remember to cover Gibbs.

Damn....they have figured out the D

I’m not worried about other teams scoring. It happens and we have a good defense.

I’m worried about our own inability to score.

We dont want to cover the flats now? Its hard to throw the ball down field, we need to cover the short stuff.

Lions offense came out firing

They need to send a lb so they keep Gibbs in

They are getting into a rhythm. Need to get a negative play!

Bent but not broken

They called a hold on Lane for less

Davis is such a large human being.

Eagles ball

They're dropping balls too
