Hurts should have gotten behind Dickerson when Toth was in there.

Yup Hurts needs to take a quick step to his left and then QB sneak/shove for the yard needed. Going right up the middle didn't work tonight.

It was very similar to the week before.

You have a 98% chance to win. By going for it, sure you can increase your odds of winning to 99%. But by failing they could drop to 93 or 94%.

It's not worth the risk at that point in the game. It seems silly but if you keep making those decisions over 8, 10, 12 games, inevitably you're going to blow one that you should absolutely win

Getting a foot with the Push has a much higher likelihood than having to pass. I was already doing the time calculations in my head, assuming they would make the layup.

@NOTW 7 for 27 when trying to throw the ball 1 yard or more downfield is insane!

Goff not at the line 26%

Shedeur 25%

The Broncos are more legit than the Colts & Patriots who haven't beat anyone. Eagles have had a harder schedule than anyone.

Eagles "fans" have doubted them all year, said the schedule was brutal and that they would lose many of these games that they have won. The Eagles are the top team in the NFL.

I dont get why people keep talking like Green Bay is a juggernaut. Regardless, great for the eagles to do that against any opponents.

Secondly, I said last week when everyone was searching for the next team to be scared of- All these teams tend to look really good because they arent playing the eagles. When they do, and the see an actual good team, they dont look so good anymore.

EXACTLY.

Last time I’ve seen an Eagles defense this good - going back to the Super Bowl to this point, this season - is the Buddy Ryan years and year after he left.

This defense is amazing - the addition of Phillips and the return of Dean has completed this defense - it is ELITE.

And Nolan is still working his way back and Hunt and Ojomo are still growing and getting better by the week. Campbell too is very far from a finished product. I don't think we peaked yet.

Many of y'all were scared of the Cowboys, Chiefs, Rams, Bucs in Tampa, Packers, Lions...

Stop being scared. The Eagles despite the struggles on offense are still the best team and know how to win.

As a point of reference, the Lions were a top 10 defense going into this game.

Nothing for AJ to complain about after getting 11 targets tonight at least.

It was never a layup. They got stuffed on the previous attempt and Cam was out.

2000 Ravens called.

Okay, touché. 2nd best.

Same. Play to win.

I normally would be but in a game the D is playing so well it makes sense to punt. If it was 30-20 and Detroit’s O was on a roll I definitely agree go for it there

What do you mean "having to pass?" I'm saying punt it and make them go the length of the field instead of risking an automatic 3 points to them

Now it’s time flip pull the reverse uno card on him.

They got almost a yard on third down. They needed only a foot.

Having to pass was a reference to last week's decision.

They're more legit than those 2 other teams because they actually beat some good teams. They beat the Eagles and the Chiefs, last year's Super Bowl teams. The Patriots and the Colts haven't been anyone. I still don't think the Broncos are going anywhere (despitea fantasy what if scenario posted earlier), just saying that of the top teams they are more legit than those other two the people seem to celebrate.

Eagles fans will hype these weak teams that haven't beat anyone yet hate on our own team with the toughest schedule.

Ill also say that I said last week that the eagles offense wont be pretty yet, but itll do just enough for us to win against Detroit with help from the defense.

A lot of you thought our first drive against GB was good. I wasnt impressed. It was harder than it needed to be. They didnt really drive the rest of the game.

A lot of you arent impressed with the offense this week. And youll cite Shiel's post about DVOA or whatever stat he used. But it was unquestionably better this week. They had some consistency as far as being able to execute the xs and os but the penalties (mostly 2 that were horrible/wrong calls) stopped some drives from ending in points. No, it wasnt pretty yet. But there was a lot of improvement over last week for this offense.

We are going to be ok by the end of the season. Offense will be playing well enough by then.

People on Twitter ****ing about the pass interference with AJ Brown. This was even even worse penalty called by the offiuals. He fell to the ground and they called a penalty on what?

I think this defense will be better than last season as the weeks go by leading into the playoffs. Have to stay healthy but every level is just stacked. Mukuba scares me a bit and CB2 will always be an issue but Adoree had a nice PBU tonight. It’s great to have Nakobe back.
