I mean alot depends on the O-line and their health but I think the offense will get better by the end of the year. All that matters is that they find something by the playoffs. I dont expect them to play like this on offense all year. I'm also not saying they will turn into the greatest show on turf but they will get better in the next 2 months.

Barkley and bigsby are a great combo.

Barkley lost a lot of yardage today to penalties. Not to be a broken record on that but it’s a huge problem this season

Nothing has been fixed. They still can't get plays in on time. The game plans are still lacking. They still run the same route concepts. And Sirianni has said they've gotten together multiple times to discuss the offense and improve it and this is what it looks like. If that's not the biggest indictment on your front man, I don't know what is.

I’m curious what happens this offseason.

If the eagles have a quick exit from the playoffs because of a putrid offense, we probably fire Patullo.

But if we make a deep run, I don’t think they will. So that means hiring a "consultant” who could step in mid season and bringing in new talent.

TE we’ll bring in at least one guy, WR too, and I think we’ll be looking at G and T in the draft.

The problem is there really isn’t a place we can fit a new starter in other than TE. QB, RB, WR1, WR2, and the whole OL will be back.

If you must go heavy then do it with an OL

Even if its Kendall or Lampkin its better than our pathetic TE2 and TE3.

Go with a DT5 to block before a TE3 if you have to.

offense was improving 2 consecutive weeks prior to the bye. Took 2 giant steps backwards against the packers, but improved a bunch today vs last week. Theyre going to be playing well enough by the end of the season in to playoffs.

I can't predict the future but they can get better on offense. I've been watching football for way too long to not know that its week to week and things can change.

If you think they won't improve in the next 2 months then that's your opinion.

I would be happy if they made 3 changes. Just 3.

1) Get your **** play call in sooner so Hurts can do his thing. Which he is good at and everyone can go S a D because it is not arguable whether Hurts is good pre-snap. He is, so shut the F up. 🤣

2) Get Calc OUT of the damn game if you are not throwing to him. OUT. Forever. If you wont throw to him (he can catch) then get him out before I go postal and kill a MFer.

3) Spread it out to make it harder for the D.

That's it. Do those things and we are better on O. It is not that hard.

Yep. Nothing builds off anything. It’s like they are just selecting plays that they like at random. There’s no rhyme to it. When you factor that in and then calling plays that doesn’t fit those players strengths it’s not gonna work.

I felt this way in 2023 and even at times last year, this offense relies way too much on players just being better than the other team. If we schemed better with this talent, we would be unstoppable on offense with the talent we have. Problem is sirianni isn’t that type of HC and Kevin patullo is not experienced enough (probably not good enough) to be able to eventually adjust like Moore did in the nfc title game and Super Bowl.

We are in week 11. At some point in time going to have to say this offense is what it is. We are getting late into the season and it’s consistently the same most weeks. At some point in time you are who you are. The reality might be we are no able to get it to where we expect it to be.

If they come out against Dallas next week and this offense looks pathetic, we have a big problems. Cause that defense has been terrible all year.

The offense isn’t that different than it has been except the OL is worse. And yes they don’t have the O brainpower to adjust well

Both GB and Detroit have good defenses. I think people forget that.

NFC standings:

— Eagles alone on top

— Rams half a game behind (head to head tiebreaker, as well as the Conference record tiebreaker)

— Bears one game back

— Bucs 2 and a half games back

— Seahawks one game back, but not comparable to the Eagles because they are in 2nd place in the NFCW

They can manage to win another SB with this defense & a weaker league all around. Either way, Lurie & Howie will want more from the offense. Consultant, demote Patullo & hire another OC, whatever...the offense should be doing much more & is expensive. Lurie wants his money's worth.

The only hope is they are waiting until the playoffs to be less risk averse. And they think they can get the #1 seed by playing great defense and not turning the ball over.

I said earlier, with other teams around the league when they beat really good defenses, the top defenses in the league even, people say it was a good win to get out of there against the tough team. Obviously, we all want the offense to play better and they need to be playing better. But the Eagles have had the toughest schedule in the league, as reigning Champions they're getting everyone's best, the Lions had this game circled on their calendar and lost and were dominated by our defense.

I dont accept that excuse either to be honest. When the talent on this offense is executing, we have seen an offense that is able to be stopped by no one other than ourselves with a penalty or something stupid like Hurts taking an unnecessary sack.

I do appreciate the fact that they are back to improving. Im not sure how good itll get, but Im sure itll look better than this.

Improve OL depth. Folks here are not putting enough of the cause on OL execution.
