I didn’t think Campbell’s fourth down decisions were that bad except the fake punt against our starting defense. And I thought he should have gone for it on 4th and 10 with 4 minutes to go at his own 30.

I give Dan Campbell credit for being all in on being aggressive. If he’s gonna lose, he’s going down the way he wants to go down and by his philosophy

Good news. I got an email back from VABeach_Eagle, he is ok. He has been tending to his mother's health as she's been in the hospital, and exhausted lately. He says he will be more available to log on

This game shows how overrated sacks can be. Only 2 sacks, but as Collingsworth kept pointing out over and over and over again, Goff was constantly and consistently under immense pressure.

yup...It was clear very early in the game tonight that Goff was more interested in getting rid of the ball very quickly with short passes rather than try to hold it a second longer and let receivers open up downfield. The pressure was completely changing his game and decision-making. By the 3rd quarter he wasn't even looking downfield. The only play in the second half that I recall that went downfield was a throw in the 4th quarter when Vic switched to a pretty soft zone and the DL didn't get much pressure. And Quinton is just unbelievable...what he did to St Brown was amazing...and Adoree becomes serviceable when the line is getting the pressure on the QB. What a great string of wins.

I disagree strongly with this assessment.

If anything, I’d say pressure is overrated and sacks are underrated by comparison.

Pressure can still result in completions and big plays. In fact, it is often when you get pressure that defenses get burned. An athletic QB feels pressure and runs for a big gain, a QB sees a blitz and hits an open receiver with space to run into, a desperation jump ball is thrown which results in PI.

A sack is so valuable because it is a double whammy — you lose yardage AND a down. If it comes on first or second down, then converting third down becomes much more difficult, and if it’s on third down it almost always results in you regaining possession.

Yes, it worked today because Goff is immobile and got rattled. Better, more athletic, more composed QBs make the pressure meaningless unless you convert that pressure into something tangible.

Fair enough. We will have to agree to disagree in total, but your point about certain QBs being able to handle pressure better than others is a good one. And your choice of "double whammy” as a descriptor is very good.

Apparently...DGUNN is saying Hurts is a problem and is a standoffish **** in the locker room.

He is going rogue, not following gameplans. Pissing off teammates who are upset plays are being missed.

He isn't afraid to get benched due to his contract.

Is Jihaad Campbell doing much? I haven’t noticed him a lot. Not always a bad thing but still

Any reports on lane or cam?

Thought he had some nice plays - curious what his snap counts are now vs before Dean came back

Jordan Love is to EPA per drop back what Evan Mathis/Brandon Graham were to PFF grades. Good players but let’s be serious

Indeed. It makes it even sweeter that the Eagles beat him at his own game.

I was flabbergasted that he punted there. At that point I figured the only way we'd lose is if we did something dumb. Which we actually did.

Great talent, defense is finally showing they are a top unit (d-line fatastic), Vic calling great games.

Offensively man. If we could only run an elementary offense we would be in such a good spot. Idk what KP is doing. There’s a few things that seem off outside of him too. AJ is quitting or jogging way too much. Bigsby seems faster and more explosive than Saquon. O-line is hit or whiff.

We have the chance to go back to back if we get offense figured out but it hasn’t looked better post bye.

I actually felt like he was giving up when they punted with around 9 minutes to go.

I know that's a normal move down 10 with that much time. But not the way he called the game so far. And not with the way the Eagles D was playing. They needed the ball as much as possible for as many opportunities as possible.. not to punt it away.

Already felt like a give up point then.. so I wasn't shocked at the decision to punt again around 4 minutes. I already felt they gave up.

To be honest, I think Campbell and Mukuba have both been mildly disappointing. Not bad. I'm not saying that. It's just that they're both kinda just there without making a lot happen.

When you factor in the fact that Robinson barely plays and is often inactive...McWilliams never sees the field...the quarterback got cut...the two offensive tackles never impressed in preseason and seemed to make the team/IR solely because of their draft status...and they never seem to even want to have Kendall in uniform, it kinda makes this past draft look pretty unimpressive.

And hit him often, hard and without drawing a single flag for it!

And then blocked FIVE passes!

In no order, why the offense struggled.

Is execution a euphemism for lousy offensive line and QB play? If so, I wholeheartedly agree.

It's just that Barkley takes that beat to see it so he can do Barkley stuff. Bigsby just hits it. Hard. Difference is TFL/+1 to +1.5/+3.

It was during the postgame show.

JAKIB sports also reported it but cited derrick gunn

D-Gunn is a worthless PoS.

Seth Joyner had to verbally BTA him last year over his pathetic national media based Hurts blather.

Dude hates Hurts.

Possibly....not a huge fan of his but i do believe he has his connections still with the team.

Russini also thinks she has connections to the team. Her sources were AJ Brown social media posts.

When D-Gunn speaks its best to ignore him.

If D-Gunn names sources then follow the sources. If he doesn't then its just him talking ish.

Fair enough......it probably is more complicated than that. Hurts is limited but I'm not so sure he is the bad apple. I could see him going rogue simply because the OC and him are not on the same page at all...which is self-evident.
