November 17Nov 17 This isn't a Hurts issue. If D-Gunn was saying this about Jake Elliot he would still be a stupid PoS.There are 4 main types of reporters / commentators. There are the former players who can provide insight and context. There are the get the story guy and try to give the fans perspective and insight (Zach Berman is a good example)There are the shock jock types with a schtick. ESP with his twitter blather, most WIP guys just trying to stir the pot. That a-hole who yells at people on WIP, etcThen there are the toadies who just push hate, rumors, and propaganda from 1 pile to another. Marcus hayes and D-Gunn are those types.Michael Barkan has the same job as D-Gunn and he is 10x the professional that Gunn ever will be.Bo Wulf used to get on my nerves the way he bullied Zach Berman but he was nowhere near as bad as Gunn. (and he does not know EJ enough to bully him anywhere near as much)Gunn is not an a-hole because I like Hurts. He's just an a-hole. Spike Eskin might be an equivalent.Buzz Bissinger was not in the Eagles environment but he was an "I hate Nick Foles guy"Some sports news people just hate some players.

Pissing off teammates who are upset plays are being missed. He isn't afraid to get benched due to his contract. If that’s true than why is he the QB? (Not asking you just saying)

Happened with Wentz supposedly. I does seem like a stretch though that the staff and FO would allow that just because they paid him.

Didn’t see it. What a mess but also a great team and season at the same time. 😄Can’t say they aren’t entertaining I guess. If they win another SB or two the Winning Time type documentary about this team will be fun. They can start in 2017.
November 17Nov 17 I know they can't pay everyone, but I walked away from this game saying there's no way they let Dean or Phillips go. They just can't.

They are both musts and I mean Dean absolutely because he’s the MLB. Let Baun and Campbell do what they do best from OLB.

If so, I wholeheartedly agree. The whole offense was lousy, Patullo and Hurts didn't cover themselves in glory last night, but they've become a get out of jail free card for the rest of the offense, Saquon is constantly running into piles when there is space to bounce outside, all the Receivers and Goedert put down catchable balls, AJ is half assing like crazy, he pisses and moans about not using him, then we spend a game basically forcing it to him and he isn't interested? he stands on the edge of the huddle as if he isn't interested, then there was at least one play last night where he's asking for the play from Hurts when he's lined up.

November 17Nov 17 The use of the backup TE is as confusing as it gets. So Caclaterra is primarily a blocker when he sucks at it and Kylen Granson is a primary target on 3rd down. Trying to understand what KP is doing.
November 17Nov 17 That was the worst I've seen the Lions Offense look in years. Props to Fangio and the Eagles D. They really have turned a corner.

November 17Nov 17 Sirianni needs held accountable. I think the Eagles had 9 penalties for 78 yards, thats absolutely ridiculous for a team at home with the lead the entire game. They can't even run a tush push anymore because they keep committing stupid penalties.Just stop doing that alone and maybe you can keep trotting the 13 personnel out there that they're so obsessed with for no f'ing reason

November 17Nov 17 The DGunn thing is dumb but it’s horrendous JAKIB media. Hurts has always had that personality of an old soul and not one of the young guys. But he is operating the offense that is called. Sure he and AJ did their thing last week on 4th down but they’d done that before several times. The play design is not good. He isn’t re-designing the plays

As for Phillips, I think he would be the more likely player to re-sign. We know Howie values the position and we know Vic loves him. I’d like to see the snap counts from last night. It felt like Smith was barely out there.
