Wherever he settles in.Nolan Smith is a possible occasional pro bowler but he's not compiling sacks even when healthy this year and is injury prone. When contracts come up, he's a guy id be afraid to overpay. And when he goes and plays well elsewhere, I'd be at peace with that decision still.Nolan is one my draft guys, I love how he plays - but when it comes to free agent money, the team can't afford to pay for players who routinely miss time. We just don't have the slack.

I know Lurie and Howie want it from top down, but Fangio ignores that and is like 'Here, I'll prove my worth with the results', and I think Nick could use some of that too. People might get benched for doing that kinda stuff to Fangio if true.

He had some great coordinators that have done a great job as well. But when we need him to step in and fix one side of the ball or at the very least support, he can’t do it. He couldn’t do it in 2023, he can’t do it now. When Siri is no longer here, he will disappear like Doug P did, guarantee it
November 17Nov 17 Not great for aj brown but watching the other receiving options on those plays, no one is really getting open. The only play where another receiving option is remotely open and has separation is the second to last play where goedert is open. Aj has his issues but we are also lackluster scheming guys open

The line doesn't look ready for games and isn't disciplined. Injuries have happened every year, but they haven't looked like this. He also hasn't coached up a young guy in the last two years outside of MB. Granted, Howie hasn't given him much to work with. We are lucky to have him, but they look off in ways we haven't seen since he's been here.
November 17Nov 17 Author I think Goff was grateful for the DPI at the end of the game. He avoided additional punishment from our defense.

Haven't used him as much on those since 2022. My guess is because Sirianni is afraid to have Hurts throw over the middle, which is ridiculous.

Dean was absolutely on another level last night, some real hard decisions to come the next few years.

Every think is vertical. We run a few routes the majority of the time in Siri/KP scheme. Hitch, out and 9 route. It’s all we do. Rarely do we even run a slant route. It’s a travesty with this amount of talent that it’s wasted by such stupidity with this coaching staff. Maybe I’m wrong, maybe it’s more of a hurts thing. But he’s shown glimpses of being a serviceable qb. The scheme is so bad and we don’t have the creative minds to fix it

November 17Nov 17 Saw a stat something something sacks 12+ for x straight years.. Garrett and LT! They are just the bestest!Yeah, Garrett is averaging 13 sacks a year over 9 in Cleveland for 117.5LT averaged 12.7 sacks a year over his best 9 (and part of the streak they mentioned) for 114.5Reggie averaged 15.5 sacks in only 8 years as an Eagle and he missed 4 games due to a strike. 124 in 1 less year.He had 13 more in Green Bay for 15.2 sacks a year and 137 totalYou can squint and give Bruce Smith 108 if you throw out a 5 game injury year in the middle...Reggie is still the GoaT

November 17Nov 17 It definitely seemed like our receivers were absolutely blanketed all night - I think the Detroit corners did a lot of grabbing/holding to keep our guys close and the officials let them do it (until the end when they called a weak one).

I'm not trying to be provocative with that; it's just a feeling I get. I think they get along well off the field, but I think there are some frustrations on the field. Didn't Smith say Mac Jones a few years ago when asked which QB he thought was the best he's played with? People at the time took that as a shot at Tua, but he played a little bit with Hurts at Alabama too.
