Howie got ripped for the Tank trade for about six weeks.

I think the team got ripped for not using him as an RB and had him returning kicks.

Good news. I got an email back from VABeach_Eagle, he is ok. He has been tending to his mother's health as she's been in the hospital, and exhausted lately. He says he will be more available to log on

Yup, you need to shop in the discarded failed HC types, just like Vic. Andy did that at the end here with Marty Morhinweg. No one was going to get him as an HC again, so he could add stability to the coaching staff. I'm not sure who that guy would be offensively. McCarthy and Daboll fit that mold, but I'm not sure I want either one. Trouble is getting past the stick of their failures as a HC. For some reason, that stink doesn't linger in my mind for defensive coaches... maybe because a good defense can suffer when the offense sucks, but in Dallas and NY, the failures have also been offensively. Do you blame them, the players, the situation, or circumstances? Hard to say.

Tbh I don’t think it’s out of the realm of possibilities that Mike McCarthy gets another head coaching job. There’s been links to him and the Giants Head coaching job. The thing with daboll is I would look at Josh McDaniels. Josh McDaniels was horrific as a head coach. Not only that he rubbed a lot of players the wrong way and was a psychopath. Yet the Eagles came down to him and Nick Sirianni on who they were going to hire as their head coach. I think if you’re able to create/take an offense that struggled to an elite level that there is a chance you’re gonna at least be interviewed for more HC jobs. If daboll came here and has the Eagles offense playing like the number one offense in the league, I’d be surprised if he didn’t get head coach coaching interview interviews.

The penalty that people should’ve lost their mind about on Twitter was when AJ Brown fell over because he slipped. somehow they called him for a 15 yard penalty. That was BS.

It totally was BS. New York should have buzzed in on that one.

Who are the FA TEs who serve the dual purpose Goedert serves?

Mark andrews, njoku, pitts(not really the blocker goedert is though), otton, waller, likely, okonkwo

The Eagles have 4 turnovers all year.

Bryce Young has 11 himself.

The 2025 Rams are 10-0 with Hurts and the Eagles are 6-4 with Stafford.

Stafford was so awful yesterday. He had 130 total yards getting 4 extra possessions from turnovers.

His team ran for 119 at 5.4 a pop

With a 14-3 lead with the division on the line and the last hope of a 1 seed he went

Said the same thing during the game. Looked ticky tack BUT he grabbed his arm at the wrist and prohibited him from reaching up. That is NOT hand checking.

How much punishment do you think Hurts can take? Over a career, it becomes cumulative.

At this point, a few QB draws and scrambles is all the running he should do.

I'd even cut out the tush push with the current OL. Because they're not getting much push.

I wasn’t complaining, simply stating a factual impact on the dynamics of the running game.

Eagles - Rams

Imagine the teams are flipped and Stafford is our QB.

He throws a pick to set up 7 for Philly.

He stalls out for 6 FG tries with the worst kicker in the NFL

Yeah, we would love him and give him words of encouragement and say just try harder next time, little buddy!

Lisfranc injury for Lane, out 4-6 weeks

I would think 4-6 is optimistic.

Did Hurts or Saquon say anything about Saquon's peanut punch fumble on the handoff? (his scoop of the ball was instead a punch down on the ball)

No idea if Hurts was off by 8 inches or Saquon was off by 8 inches or each were off by 4 inches.

I'm not blaming either guy, just curious about what happened. It was weird.

They blamed you for it.

Me. Stoll was what you are really looking for in a backup TE. You want a guy that is first and foremost willing AND ABLE to do the dirty work, so be an inline blocker, to be physical, to play ST. Calcaterra was never going to be that. He'd already walked away from the game due to concussions, he's not going to be a guy that's overly physical. Calcaterra is a guy they felt they needed due to Goedert's injury history. He has more ability as a TE1 than he does as a true TE2. And ironically, Goedert is more suited to TE2 roles, but he's also better at TE1 roles (when healthy).

Sure wish we had Stoll at this point. Calcaterra is a nice pass catcher but can't block to save his life and we need the blocking from our TE2.

Refs were awful against Denver (no surprise) but they did actually call a bunch of OL holds on KC (they were mostly blatant)

I was livid when I saw the deep ball PI on Riley Moss live but then I saw the replay. Same thing, he grabbed the other guy. That gets called.

The Lion should not be grabbing AJ.

I'm all for changing the philosophy the offense to not rely on TEs so much

You keep talking about Stafford and the Rams, so man for man, which Rams players would you prefer over the respective Eagles. You keep making these statements, but I find it hard to replace anyone on this roster with their Rams counterpart. Same with the Panthers you mentioned earlier.

Barkley - Kyren Williams

AJ Brown - Devontae Adams

Dotson - Jordan Whittington

Smitty - Puka

Goedert - Tyler Higbee

Mailata - Alaric Jackson

Dickerson - Steve Avila

Jurgens - Coleman Shelton

Steen - Kevin Dotson

Johnson - Rob Havenstein

I'm very happy the Eagles are 8-2. I think they can beat anyone and quite frankly I feel good about Jalen stepping up in the playoffs as well.

That said Patullo just is a really bad play caller. Some guys aren't good at it. He could get better. Steichen was considered a bad play caller in San Diego when he was there before Eagles. But the problem is today Patullo stinks

Andy sucked at adjustments and it took him years to improve. We don't have that kind of time.

It sucks they are losing the Fred Johnson component as a TE. I wonder who else they could use because you are right they aren't it.

Pretty sure he's being sarcastic

He's done that for other QBs too

I’d agree but they are never not going to have a legitimate TE though. They’ve always had a celek to a ertz to a goedert. Tbh if i could get mark andrews for a decent 2 year deal id be content and then draft a TE in round 3-5.

He framed it as if they repeat though.

Sure, and he's said different timeframes. But my point was the other poster said Lane would not retire of his own volition, but he would because he said he would.

Seattle's defense is pretty good. I don't think the Rams would win more with Hurts. They rely heavily on being able to pass over the middle on crossing routes. It's not a strength of Hurts' game. The Eagles would have to alter their offense to fit Stafford's strengths. I can't imagine the team would be worse off with Stafford vs. Hurts.
