I've posted this before. Bought the vsee box a couple of years ago. As long as you have good internet, it works great and has every game from every league/all local channels as well as most subscription services. Buy the box and never pay again. Screenshot_20251103_124523_Amazon Shopping.jpg

What type of quality do you get out of it? 1080p?

Is that like the card you would slide into your DirectTV box?

Maybe idk. Living in Mexico half the year, I have used hacked firesticks and they never worked consistently. All I know if that this thing works. Alot of expats where I live have changed over and are happy.

If, for some reason, there is buffering on the NFL game channel, you can easily find the game on the locals and switch over but that is a rare occurrence. Most important is the internet speed. I switched to starlink down there and rarely have any issues.

Edit: I have one at my house in New Mexico as well and it works great

Do you think he realizes that parsons trade was 2.5 months ago

I genuinely can't imagine being a fan of either. There's no end for their mediocrity

Would make the trade even better, if true.

I haven't seen the exact details but they are likely just applying the vet minimum and figuring Eagles are responsible for 8/17th's.

The more I think about the deal, the more I've grown to like it. We still have two 3rds. We're getting an upgrade on the line. If he plays well he's still young enough that he can maybe be signed cheaply/decently (given the injury history) if Howie wants to.

If not, he's a comp pick. If he does poorly and walks, he's a comp pick.

Not too shabby

I commented yesterday on the amount of CBs/DBs on the roster. I mentioned the similarities between Carter II and Mukuba. Carter II played mostly S at Duke before moving to nickel in the NFL. I figure he is a DB like Coop in this secondary. Tie to our S coach might have a bearing on that.

That might go a long way with Epps out too. Right now, they only have 3 safeties on the roster. Versatility is so important.

Commanders in sell mode.

We'll take a guard for depth, and send them Adoree Jackson. Or Dom can deliver them pizza and cheesesteaks.

A factor to consider is coaching and team morale. When these guys are on losing teams, we can view their production and critique it a certain way, but the scouts and coaches view more, go back to their scouting reports when that players was in the draft, stuff like that. There's scheme fit as well.

We saw in 2023 when our defense had bad coaching, then Vic took over and a lot of the guys played better or got back to form purely from having competent coaching. And we've seen rookies contributing on defense more than before, again I think that's coaching.

We've argued over certain guys in the past like Rasul Douglas and others, who went on to perform better than here. It happens.

I don't know what will come of these new players, and some of it is rolling the dice. But we have competent, quality defensive coaching to properly assess them and get them ready to play.

NFL Trade Deadline Monday after Howie made his move:

Hope Youtube TV and Disney get their crap figured out by Monday. Don't want to have to sign up for another service or buy a digital antenna. Not watching tonight's game because of it. I suspect they won't both sides seem dug in.

It happened a few months ago with another channel, I forget which one. Even before streaming, every now and then there were these type of deal negotiations where DirecTV or Dish would negotiate with a network and put messages to customers. Usually, a deal would be made before they pulled the service. Sometimes it would happen but get resolved quickly. Hopefully that happens here.

I also hope that with every complaint that sports fans have about how to watch their teams, contributes to a future where we can just purchase a team package. I would love team plan to see all games regardless of network, which day/night, regular season and playoffs.

Yup...I keep waiting for the news that Dan Quinn or their GM have been fired. That was an absolute abomination to watch last night. Daniels was running for his life from the 2nd quarter on with no support. He was getting absolutely hammered play after play...he needed to come out especially after just returning from injury. Quinn has proven himself to be an old school idiot, but that GM not getting on the line or going down to the sideline to stop the madness is just as horrible. I can only assume the NFLPA will make a stink...

NFLPA? Was Daniels lining up by himself on both offense and defense? That’s an indictment against the other players who were also out there getting hammered. I just don’t see the NFLPA favoring a QB against the rest the players.

I think ESPN probably got what they wanted out of this which is people panicking and buying ESPN+ over the weekend.

Haven't heard a peep about it since Saturday.

We share our Disney/Hulu with family and Verizon game them a deal that added ESPN+ and I was excited...until I opened it and it's just recorded talk shows and some select documentaries, not live sports. That's a separate payment of $20/month. I want to look at changing to a new bundle deal that would include it but I'm not the primary on the account.

I'm starting to wonder how the Eagles feel about Nolan Smith and if he actually will be back soon. I know and have said myself that he indicated on social media that he'd be back for Green Bay. But Phillips plays predominately left, the same as Nolan Smith. It will be another interesting wrinkle to see how Vic gets all these guys on the field.

I have Hulu live tv with espn unlimited and Disney plus included. Paying $90 for it. Get live espn on the app and with Hulu live. It’s getting pricy but still way cheaper than what i had with cable.

riiiiiighttt

I'm wondering if the Eagles will pick up his 5th year option considering his injury history. Everybody here seems to think it is a foregone conlusion that he Eagles will sign him to an extension. They might but I think it will need to be reasonable. The Eagles will be very cautious with the money they allocate to Smith if they feel his triceps and shoulder injuries will be a career long problem.

They were down 37 to 7 with no chance to comeback. His injury was completely avoidable.

Week 9 took a lot of guys out

Exactly. Didn’t become an Eagles fan until I was in third grade. All I knew about football prior to that year is that it was something my dad watched on television sometimes. But he took me to an Eagles game that year and I was instantly hooked. From that moment until I graduated high school, the Eagles never had a winning record. They were an embarrassment for an entire decade.

We’ve been mostly good for about thirty years but right now is the absolute peak.

That feels like me when from 2nd grade until my junior of college the Phillies didn’t make the playoffs
