Nakobe Dean has elevated his game beyond words - against 2 of the better offenses in the NFL over the past two weeks. He’s been dominating out there - not only crushing his assignments - he’s been rolling over people any chance he gets. Wow - just wow.

Not to take anything away from Dean, but once Baun came in, I noticed a real shift in how he played. It felt like the move lit something in him before he got injured, maybe a confidence boost or just the freedom to use him in ways that fit what he does best. Whatever the reason, I’m glad he’s finally getting the credit he’s earned. He and Baun seem like the perfect tandem.

So in conclusion

Whomever gets the blame deserves it: Eagles offense started drives on the Lions 11, 48, and 43 yard line and their own 32, 45, and 35 (2x) yard line. They scored 9 points on those possessions. All FGs. Total offensive yards on those 7 drives? 82 yards. That is pathetic. If the Lions punt, pinning us back rather than going for 5 4th downs, they have a strong chance to win. Other, smarter coaches will punt and challenge the offense to get more than 11.7 yards per drive.

We had 6 other drives including game ender that totaled 189 yards of offense and 1 TD-a whopping 31.5 yards per drive.

For the game we averaged 20.9 yards per drive

If you give the top 15 OCs in the league that talent they will not be running BS with those two TEs and I guarantee you it would not look like trash. 

Good thing they traded away their 1st to the rams this year…

Hurts had a bad game yesterday. It's unclear to me how much is the result of Patullo vs. Hurts. Hurts has limitations but they are doing little to capitalize on his strengths. It also feels like so much of the playcalling is ad hoc. The best series was the hurry up series at the end of the first half. It looked to me that they were in a hurry up and Patullo was not contemplating each call.
