Penix was an historically bad draft pick, in terms of process anyway. Every defensive player was still on the draft board when they selected him (after giving Kirk Cousins $100M guaranteed just six weeks earlier).

Their incompetence helped us draft Q at #22 so everything worked out ..... for us.

He hasn't missed any games in the NFL for injuries. He had 2 torn ACLs in his left knee before they drafted him. This is the ACL in his right knee. If they give up on him after one injury in the NFL, it's not about his injuries.

The route combo does highlight how they have no idea why they should use motion. It's crazy that they never use it as a way to get a receiver into space sooner.

Could also be that KP can't put together gameplans and plays and then call them in games very well.
