You guys can make your assumptions that since WRs catch balls and play for the eagles, that must mean they want to play with Hurts. But no one has ever said it. No one. You actually HEAR it said for other QBs, when you have a great one. Dont have to use your bias to assume, when you have a great one.

He signed for money, and wins. Not because Hurts is thrilling to play with.

Yeah they needed to sit Dickerson out at least through the bye week. Jurgens should have been shutdown at least a couple weeks longer. Jurgens I think was a little worried how the offense was looking a little better with Toth under center. And with the money he was just paid, I don't think you can really tell him no he is sitting until 100% if he is pushing to come back to playing.

Devonta doesn't want to play with Hurts so much that he will be signing a new extension with the Eagles shortly after AJ is traded in the offseason.

There can be a list of 100 reasons why a player would sign or re-sign for more years in Philly, and conceivably Jalen Hurts doesnt even need to be on that list.

Of course he can be. But not one player has ever said they were excited to come here to play with him as we have heard about other QBs around the league, as well as QBs for our own team. Good ones, like Wentz and McNabb who players have directly said they came to play with specifically. Never happened for Hurts and probably never will.

They beat STL on Thursday so this wasn’t a true back-to-back.

Their next back-to-back games are next Saturday-Sunday at NYI and at NJ. That will tell a lot because they’ll almost surely have to play one of those games with Ersson in net, who appears to be afraid he might get hit with the puck.

Still, 11-6-3 is nothing to sneeze at. I assumed at least 6 points in the standings from firing Tortorella and nothing else. Trevor Zegras has been a much better trade acquisition than I expected.

The only players that I could see signing or re-signing somewhere purely because of another player are Avonte Maddox and Dallas Goedert and who really knows what was going on there.

But what we do know is that DeVonta took a major discount to re-sign with a team and help them with the cap so he could try to get back to the Super Bowl and win not just one but multiple. He did that with Jalen Hurts as his QB. A guy he won a championship with in college and got to one in the NFL with Jalen as well at that time and has since won the Super Bowl with Jalen throwing him the biggest catch of his entire football career in that game. He chose to stay in a place where he can be a consistent contender and the QB is a big part of that. A QB he has won with. DeVonta is here because he wants to win and Jalen Hurts is one of the biggest winners in this league's history so far by all of his metrics up to this point in both of their pro careers together.

Dak is 160 yards away from passing Romo as the Cowboys all time passing yards leader.

Would be a hell of a defensive accomplishment to hold him from getting that tomorrow because you know the announcers will be talking about that every time he completes a pass tomorrow.

Ill be excited when I finally hear a player say it. Till then, you just have false equivalence and presumptions. Other QBs have been high enough on the list that players have actually come right out and said it. So....maybe one day for Hurts? But not yet.

Well at least we know something that will get you excited. I hope that happens for you. I know how miserable you have unfortunately been with all this winning with Jalen Hurts at QB, coming off of a Super Bowl win and 2nd Super Bowl appearance in 3 years while they sit at top of the NFC in late November having beat the other top teams in the NFC this year along with the Chiefs in KC.

Still false equivalence. The talent around him is there for many reasons. HC with an incredible winning percentage, and an incredible culture. Owner with a top class organization. GM who has always been great at landing free agents long before Hurts was here.

Team full of talent, and none of those people have ever once said they are here because of him. Theyre probably more interested in playing with the other guys on the team.

What a blackeye for that GM then to have drafted a QB in the second round in his most controversial pick that ends up in his first 4 seasons as a starter take the Eagles to two Super Bowls, outplay Mahomes in both of them, win one and Super Bowl MVP and now in his 5th season as starter have the team in 1st place in the NFC in late November after playing the gauntlet of the best teams in the NFC in the best the NFC has been in a very long time. Some people can't handle the pressure of success. Some fans here that aren't able to enjoy the ride as they have panic attacks over everything that doesn't work as the team continues to win at the high rate that it does. Some players can't handle their ego that they aren't getting more shine in this historic run that they might have used to. An OC can't handle the position at this level. But this team is great and Jalen is great. Give me a great clutch big game championship QB with an all time great defense any day and everyday.

I agree with you. Players must hate all the winning. They will hate repeating. I expect a lot of people requesting trades this offseason to get away from Jalen Hurts. We are all bonded, you, me, the other fans, the players, the coaches, the organization in having to suffer through all of this Championship football that Jalen Hurts is forcing upon us.

They've been friends since, close, hang out together. Said when Eagles drafted him, he was "happy as hell...got my dawg here."

The number indicates how many deep defenders, so cover zero just means nobody in zone covering deep. You could technically have a cover zero coverage with two zone defenders to each flat or in shallow hook zones and 5 in man, only sending 4 after the QB. You'll see something like this occasionally in situations in the red zone like 4th and 5 from the 10 yd line.
