I agree Johnson was running a simplistic offense that had some very odd blind spots, that was both predictable and could be manipulated.

KP has been fairly inventive in the RZ or at least successful there, has attempted to run the offense through the pistol, under center and has tried to jumpstart the run game with the jumbo sets… but doesn’t have the luxury of spamming inside zone (effectively) like Kellen did.

Hurts and AJ or any other WR can talk about changing things in practice or in between series when they have more time. Hurts can say to him, hey if the defense is giving this look or if the defender is playing you too high or outside then I'll give you a signal to run a crosser or a slant or a go route. We've seen it before where Hurts gave AJ a little signal to run a different route.

I dont think Hurts and AJ have the best relationship at the moment and its part of what is hurting the offense, certainly not the main or only reason. They have to be on the same page and communicate more.

Their relationship isn’t hurting our offense. Siri and KP are. Our WRs are literally running 3 routes out of the same formations. It’s as predictable as it gets

So why cant they do what i suggested in the last post? If the WRs are running only 3 routes, they cant audible to a different play or different routes? I've seen Hurts do it before.

And its fair to say that the QB and WR1 not on the same page and not communicating is certainly hurting the offense somewhat. Not the main reason the offense has struggled but it plays into it.

I think the issue was that Kenny G was being used situationally in 2 minute and passing downs, sidelining Saquon in high leverage scenarios. Why?

This year you kind of see it - Saquon isn’t particularly good sifting through the pass block reads.

Hurts did this in the SB with the gun/scissors hand gesture to AJ.

As long as gb doesn’t turn it over they should win

Currently he's the offensive pass game coordinator for Washington. Not sure exactly what he does but I'd imagine most of the offense is run by Kliff Kingsbury.

Not sure its fair to say Johnson is a better OC than Patullo at this point.

Several top QBs that year all threw around the same amount of picks. Allen 18 (All Pro), Hurts 15 (PB), Tua 14 (PB), Mahomes 14 (All Pro). There's got to be somewhere in the middle of throwing 1 pick vs the 15 he had under Johnson.

BJ was far more aggressive, and that led to turnovers with no defense to help. With KP, they hardly risk anything and are terrified of turning the ball over when they have a pretty damn good defense to help them out. Hurts has 4 games throwing less than 150 yards with KP.

The bigger question is if Patullo is capable of finding that middle ground, or if his offensive philosophy is just this bad. Kellen Moore seemed to be able to find that middle ground. Did Nick not learn anything during Moore's time here that he can apply?

The counterpoint is Patullo is running the offense Sirianni has directed him to.

Best case is Patullo keeps coordinating the offense through the week and the better of Loefler or Frazier is the play caller.

Its a no win situation at this point. They've played this game before and lost miserably. This time its going a little bit better, but I think it will end the same way.

Their relationship was ruined last year according to graham. We won a Super Bowl.. this year the offense is even more simple/conservative. That’s the issue

Parsons with back to back sacks. GB almost had a a safety 😭

Gb/minny is prime example of how you can’t just win with defense.

Not really sure I believe in any of the teams in the AFC. I think the Colts might be the best team. But I don’t trust Daniel Jones in a big playoff game. New England has a good defense, but maye and the offense at times looks very sporadic. And he hasn’t played in a playoff game. Kansas City might not make the playoffs. Baltimore’s offense even with Lamar back hasn’t looked great. Buffalo depending on the week look like the best team in the league or they can look like one of the worst teams in the league. Denver I think it’s probably the most balanced team. But they can’t run the ball very well with JK Dobbins out. And they play up and down to their competition.

Frankly, I’m not sure I believe anybody in the AFC could beat the Eagles or the Rams when it matters .
