EMB Blog: 2025 Regular Season (Part 2) ... and Playoffs

No to a day two pick for Phillips. Hold firm, Howie.

Lurie being broke is impacting trade negotiations.

Said last night, Mafe would be interesting.

We already have an abundance of riches at LB. How would you use Mafe?

I disagree regarding the Eagles. I think I'd give up a straight 2 for Hendrickson even if it's only for the rest of the season and playoffs. If he leaves as a free agent -- which he will of course -- we'll eventually get a comp 3. To me the delta between the 2 and 3 is worth what he could bring to the table for the stretch run.

Now if first round picks are involved, that's another thing altogether.

Let me ask this....what has he done the last 2 years to help the Bengals get back to the SB? He's a good player, but he hasn't made a level of impact in the playoffs to deserve multiple high picks. Especially, as a one year rental. He's also hurt this year. We agree on the first round picks.

Do not trade McKee.

Well, what are they getting back? First next year?

We get 49ers-Giants on CBS and Jsgs-Raiders on Fox

DET-MIN is the other choice here, so an embarrassment of riches in comparison.

We traded a 6 for a 7

Even if he just does an okay job at covering other teams’ 4th WR in dime situations that’ll be a decent trade

Ironically a 6th that we don’t appear to have. Our only 6th was from the Vikings trade and that was traded away in the Biggs trade.

Sure youre not jumping the gun? I mean there's been 1 episode. It's possible it gets much better.

Can't tell you how many shows ive watched that were slow and boring the first few episodes, even sometimes the majority of the 1st season, then get much better.

It's bad. It's really bad.

You can dream all you want about Minnesota draft picks dancing in your head.

2016 was a perfect storm for grabbing that 1st round pick when Teddy got hurt.

This is not 2016.

They are not trading for the QB they just traded to Philly.

They are not trading for a QB who will instantly start a controversy for their new QB.

Their season can go off the rails fast even with a Howell or McKee. Look at the schedule.

No way are they going to give Philly yet another possible top 10 overall pick for Tanner McKee.

He's Tanner Fing McKee. There is no controversy. If you trade for McKee, then he's your starter day one. Future first ballot HOFer.

If the Vikings traded for Mahomes would there be a controversy? No? Ok. Then why would there be with McKee?

The Diplomat is a fantastic show. It’s a modern West Wing.

I just binge watched the whole of Season 3 in two nights. Fabulous show! Season 3 was spectacular and Seasons 1and 2 are great as well.

I’m still not sold on Indy. They just have that feeling of a team that will finish with 14-15 wins, get the top seed, and lose round 1.

Considering how last season went for them, that is a huge improvement.

The first episode was 1 out of 100 awful.

The second episode was so bad that I turned it off 10 minutes in.

I have read IT 2 times, I have watched the Curry mini series 3x, and I saw the movies. I am the target audience.

This is Winnie the Pooh slasher level shlock with the emphasis on the 💩

Here's a name no one has mentioned: Darius Slay.

They don't like him in Pittsburgh, have already paid him most of his salary, and are reportedly open to listening to offers.

Why not trade for the guy that was in that spot last year?

Hmmmmmm

Remake of IT Chapter 2 was bad too but this one takes the cake.

I’d be trying to sign him to a 2 year deal now but I’m sure he wants an opportunity to start.

We had our own 6th too. It was originally traded to the Texans in the CJGJ deal but was reacquired in the Metchie deal. So I presume that was the one that was traded to Jacksonville for Bigsby.

The Bears just left about a 6 yard wide gap in the middle of the kick coverage team.

You'll never guess what happened for 99 yards...

Arguably, P. Johnson, Robinson and Young are being forced into this lineup and are giving you nothing. Graham & Nolan Smith have to be their old selves. Yet to be seen. Carter playing with one arm. Can use another solid proven vet there. You are assuming Dean is going to play all the snaps coming off a serious knee surgery. Yes, he played more against a run dominant team like Giants. Think Fangio is going to be creative with the parts he has and play to everyone's strengths, which I like. Also, important to not all of the sudden abandon Campbell's reps here.

With the arrival of BG and the return from IR of Nolan Smith, P. Johnson, Robinson and Young are all going to be bench sitters. Carter, Davis and Ojomo will get all the DT snaps. But with only 3 DL on the field at a time in most plays, which 3 DL will you be using most of the time?

Our offense is insanely boom or bust

You missed the irony embedded in my post. It wasn’t quite sarcasm, but close.

Slay injured...of course.

Slay just got injured. So I expect us to trade for him

Slay just messed up his left hand/wrist
