Was he completely over matched when the Eagles scored 3 straight TD’s to open the game?

no logic allowed when looking for places to deflect blame from the primary player responsible.

I’m so disappointed in Howie right now. 2018, 2023, 2025. So many similarities. Learn your Fing lessons dude

You can't expect them to win every single game by themselves. They had two turnovers, three if you count the 4th down stop ON THE FING GOAL LINE. That was them changing the game and giving the offense the chance to win, and yet again the offense crapped down its leg. They held the cowboys to 24, at home, fighting the refs, with the offense giving them absolutely nothing in terms of rest or points.

The offense and special teams gave the defense turnovers and short fields. That’s what they were given.

O-line broken, Saquon busted, coaching bad.

I would say the teams were about even because of how our defense played, and I definitely won't say they deserved to win after that BS flag on dejean on that Pickens catch that led to a TD and the unbelievable call on the punt about it hitting the scoreboard when it was 20 yards away from it.

I will agree we did not deserve to win by any stretch of the imagination

I couldn't tell from the replay since I was watching on my phone but it sure didn't look like it hit the scoreboard. Not that it mattered much in the end, since the difference in yardage from where they started their drive from was negligible in the end.

It’s so effing frustrating that Dallas played like that and were clearly the better team. Goodness what a friggin joke.

In fairness we’ve deserved to lose other games where it’s felt the same way but survived by the skin of our teeth

The Cowboys lost a fumble unforced in our end. A false start just before the end zone pick likely cost them 7 points. Aubrey actually missed a FG. Make no mistake, the defense was fortunate to not get 34 or so dropped on it.

We did have mistakes and such but it didn't feel like we 100% gave this game away. Dallas made many plays to win the game. That bothers me most. They took it just as much or actually more so than we gave it away. First half offense was spectacular, what the f happened? No tank again is just hang bangingly stupid. This offense looking so good then going back into a shell in the second half is highly concerning, highly.

The refs obviously called the game on Cowboys favor but still a lot of self-inflicted wounds. And ultimately Patullo has no business being an NFL OC. He’s completely overmatched

Yea I generally don't blame the refs but some absolutely crucial calls that completely changed the game: the fake penalty on the Pickens catch that was 1000% OPI, and the call about the punt hitting the scoreboard which took 15 yards off of the punt. That second one actually warrants an investigation, because it was not even remotely close and allegedly that call came because it was reviewed by someone in New York.

Fells like the 2023 9ers game but worse somehow. Similar implications moving fwd IMO.

It is and they will go one and done in the playoffs.

Once teams adjust he’s incapable of countering because he’s overmatched

I’ve resigned myself to Patullo being an anchor this year, but the bottom line is even an anchor OC would have success if our OL could run block. We simply don’t move people. It’s hard to win when you can’t run the ball and you’re constantly getting into second and third and long for various reasons. Hurts isn’t a player who elevates those around him, not on a consistent basis anyway. But if we can’t even be a league average running team, it’s just not gonna work.

That team had the worst defense in the nfl and, frankly, a much better offense than this team.

This team has an elite defense and what is truly shaping into a bottom 5 offense, but not the worst in the league.

This is a much better team. A team that probably wins one or more playoff games. They will come up short at some point when the offense just completely no shows in a game where the defense sputters.

You can play that game both ways. Dallas was fortunate for Bauns dropped int, and their TE fumbling out of bounds. Also, the phony penalties that lead to TDs.

Sure. Do you think that was some kind of good defensive performance?

They said the scoreboard thing didn’t happen, but the penalty was about a gunner not getting back inbounds. Didn’t see it, but it costed us a couple net yards.

It was nowhere close, and on the replay the punt was a perfect spiral 20 yards away so there is no earthly way anyone could have imagined it hit the scoreboard. Regardless of the yardage, which is think was either 5 or 10 yard difference, that's an inexcusable call

This team's total inability to run the ball on early downs with Saquon is crippling the offense. Every drive they are constantly behind the sticks.

They need to pass more or run wide on early downs instead of running into a brick wall in the center of the line every time. Or run more with Tank and use Barkley as more of a receiver.

Why did we call timeout there? Let them try a 64 yard FG instead of letting them get closer

Even the coaches took stupid pills today

There was a drive that was pretty creative. It may have been the last or 2nd to last successful drive we had

Every pass Hurts throws is a floater. That also impacts what routes can be safely targeted and utilized.

That wasnt the call

There was a flag on the ground in the replay someone ran oob intentionally

Cam isn't good due to injuries, Steen was a downgrade, no Lane and Dickerson certainly isn't playing 100%.

Saquon was abhorrent today. Probably the worst player on offense.

I didn't even see a penalty on that first punt
