Agreed. We need to play the Rams in Philly so the #1 seed is key. Tonight was expected but it doesn't help.

This. The Rams are the best team in the NFC and the biggest challenge so we NEED to get them at home. I think/hope they'll drop 2 more games so we can only lose 1 more to get the #1 seed at 13-4.

  • Good news. I got an email back from VABeach_Eagle, he is ok. He has been tending to his mother's health as she's been in the hospital, and exhausted lately. He says he will be more available to log on

I don't think Patullo even knows where the gas pedal is never mind take his foot off it, he's in way over his head.

I will not blame the refs.....the Eagles should never have been had the game in a position for the refs to influence the ending. The Eagles just plain lost this...now a short week to prepare against a pretty hot team. Missing possibly both safeties and still no identity and sense of purpose with the offensive play calling...time for some resiliency to kick in and the leaders need to keep things calm and step up

Refs were part but the inability to get a play in in time this late in the season is absolutely inexcusable.

The board goes over the top to destroy Josh Allen to prop up Hurts when he has no where near the support, but when Hurts goes MIA it's

"He only has two top 15 receivers!"

"His team committed penalties!"

"It was windy!"

Then name some…KP was a bad promotion. Hire. Whatever. We all know it but to pretend after black Monday dust settled there was really anything left in the cupboard is ridiculous.

Here ya go. Double digit candidates, majority of which had playcalling experience at the NFL level

I said the Eagles had one more regular season loss in them this season before locking up the playoffs and division - and felt like this was the game for it.

As frustrating as the offense and this loss is totally on them - one 2nd half score is all that was needed and they wouldn't have blown the 1st half lead. But they are taking baby steps to figuring it out - I don't they will be dynamic this year because they can't lean into the run game but could settle into a middling offense with a great D. This was the 3rd straight game, the underlying process was better but they killed themselves with mistakes.

1st half was generally good 3rd Q was dreadful but if you look at the 4th Q drives:

  • Moving the ball but then had back-to-back penalties (one of the BS) and settle for a FG

  • Moving the ball but Barkley fumble

  • Got robbed out of a possession by the Gipson fumble

  • Moving the ball but then took a dumb sack

Is it good - hell no.....but I am hopeful.

I had a loss tonight and in Buffalo with a 13-4 finish. Hopefully the Rams lose twice just as you say which would do it.

Rams aren’t as scary as everything thinks they are.. I’d be more concerned playing Tampa in the playoffs over the Rams

How come? I think Carters ability to play some safety has been discussed before. Or am I making that up?

Because he’s been here for two weeks and Fangio has a reputation for not playing guys who don’t know what they are doing. He was playing McCollum

last year and Epps this year as the third S. Has Carter played much S before and does he know what he’s doing?

Passing game remains broken. Running game is broken. Offense didn't show up for the second half. The defense can't do it all on their own. The offense has to carry their own water.

I agree. There are basically 0 teams left on our schedule with the level of talent of the Dallas offense. Dallas needed every bit of it, as well as calls from the refs to win.

We will struggle if we see the Rams in the playoffs.

No one else really scary. Even playing this poorly on offense, this team is capable of beating anyone.

I do not believe the rest of the season will be in shambles.

Friday is a rebound game for both sides of the ball. If they don’t thrash that horrid bears D there is no hope. Shutting down an over achieving bears O will be good for the D.

Break down the all-22 and tell me what he should have done. Show me the open people later. Show me the throwing lane free of a defender about to hit him.

Dallas had 1 tunrnover and the Eagles had 1 turnover.

If Saquon and Baun suck less then its Dallas -2 and Eagles 0 and its a win.

He should have not taken the sack.

Dallas also had a fumble and an it interception.

Yeah that will be the litmus test. If we handle the Bears we've got a chance. If we drop that one, a 2023-style collapse is imminent.

Yeah I remember exciting options being gone, but seemingly better options than Patullo being available. And yet, if we wanted some semblance of stability for Hurts, Patullo was the guy. And this is what we get from Hurts with that. Bad OC for a bad QB. Mess.

Absolutely not. Bucs aren't anything to worry about. Rams are.

Blaming Hurts for today is stupid. Sorry if that makes you mad.

Nick Sirianni is having the worst coaching season since Chip Kelly in 2015. He's been awful this year. Yes, even at 8-3.

His 4th quarter decision making has been awful. His decision on when to kick FGs and when to go for it all season have been awful.

His usage of timeouts is awful.
His offensive philosophy is awful.

His inability to adjust has been brutal.

The team is undisciplined with penalties, you have multiple locker room dramas this season.

He's just been terrible. Every week it's just rely on your talent on offense that Howie amassed to do just enough and Fangio to bail you out.

Between neither la team really having HFA and the alternative of GB/TB I think NFCCG in la is ideal alternative.

Right now... every team is scary. This offense is schizophrenic... at best.

He's part of the many issues with the offense and has been all year.

With that in mind, I was thinking this during the game. Fangio hates playing new players. Now I know Bennett missed a lot of time. But hes been here a lot longer than Carter. So how the hell do we not get Bennett at CB2? Instead its Carter to nickel, and DeJean outside. Why????? Why does he seem to hate Bennett so much? The been here longer excuse didnt hold up there.

And with all that said, it may show he trusts Carter. Which is important at safety, a more cerebral position.
