I'm not hanging around after the loss because it sucked. Its get away from football for a bit.

I'm not some kind of PoS who would think Hurts 3 TDs is something to brag about because they lost.

Like Hurts, I care about the win.

Since the obsessive hatred crowd just spit at Hurts and called me out, here goes:

Go ahead and pretend Hurts was some huge factor in the loss. He was not.

Baun is paid like 17m a year to catch balls in his hands.

Saquon is paid to not fumble and to not run for below 2.8 yards a carry 5 times in 11 games.

He ran like a newborn baby giraffe tonight.

Hurts had 300+ yards and 3 TDs and was not perfect.

His pace with 17 games like this would be 4913 passing yards, 17 passing TDs, 561 yards rushing and 34 rushing TDs. (and more with the extra plays when Baun and Saquon do their job)

They would be 17-0 like that if the rest of the team did not have 15+ penalties and field punts at the 1 and fumble and fail to catch a Dak pass right at them.

A few of the runs he had were amazing, No way should he have converted that one up the middle.

The AJ TD was great. The other AJ TD miss where he forgot to toe tap was also great. The draw TD run was great.

Its so hard to score from the 5 and he had an awesome run.

Every last one of you has serious issues. Your sick obsession over crucifying Hurts at every turn is just sad.

I want to start by thanking the Eagles. They have now won 2 SBs in my lifetime and are defending champs. They are 8-3 and heading to the playoffs. Things are good in Eagle land...better than I every thought they would be. Thank you.

Now...I've heard people say happiness is reality minus expectations. And reality minus expectations right now...is not good. Expectations were that this team could, should repeat as SB champs and might even become an Eagles dynasty, something that just felt like utter fantasy before and now we could actually taste. Reality is that we are learning...no...have learned that this team, on offense, has multiple major foundational fault lines that will cause them to fall short in their playoff run this year and even foreshadow the closure of the window for this team in the not that distant future.

So the Eagles deserve our thanks and admiration, but it's also fair to punch some pillows and throw some remotes right now. Most importantly, an NFL offense is a multicellular organism. This week should not deteriorate into debates that it's ALL the fault of Hurts/Patullo/Barkley/OL. They are all doing a perfectly bad job on their own this year. The incompetence of each magnifies, but does not excuse the other.

With that in mind, I was thinking this during the game. Fangio hates playing new players. Now I know Bennett missed a lot of time. But hes been here a lot longer than Carter. So how the hell do we not get Bennett at CB2? Instead its Carter to nickel, and DeJean outside. Why????? Why does he seem to hate Bennett so much? The been here longer excuse didnt hold up there.

And with all that said, it may show he trusts Carter. Which is important at safety, a more cerebral position.

Maybe Bennett sucks in practice.

I believe they’ll move Dejean to safety and plug Carter in at the nickel on a short week

Friday is a rebound game for both sides of the ball. If they don’t thrash that horrid bears D there is no hope. Shutting down an over achieving bears O will be good for the D.

It may be too soon. Though I still think the eagles should win.

Im still not going to say sky is fallign if they happen to drop that one.

Its similar to the Denver game which was then too soon to turn around and beat a terrible Giants team.

Yeah, I don’t think Hurts was the issue today. We had 63 rushing yards. We had penalties that cost us points on three different drives. Barkley fumbled away potential points. Jake missed a kick.

What did they have, 13 or 14 penalties? Just a rough game overall.

Nothing is going to change with this guy until Lurie or Howie steps in. Blame Patullo all you want, but listening to this dude all season it's clear he believes their offensive philosophy is correct and he'll blame this loss on the penalties and turnovers. He's stubborn and needs his wings clipped before he ruins their season.

Passing game remains broken. Running game is broken. Offense didn't show up for the second half. The defense can't do it all on their own. The offense has to carry their own water.

Yes. The running game is putrid. It is quite obvious that both Dickerson and Jerguns have lost their mobility with their injuries and Fred is much better at pass blocking.

39 pass attempts vs. 18 rushes where 7 of those are Hurst carries.

Hurts did miss open players. I know skippy and rtk won't acknowledge it though

The board goes over the top to destroy Josh Allen to prop up Hurts when he has no where near the support, but when Hurts goes MIA it's

"He only has two top 15 receivers!"

"His team committed penalties!"

"It was windy!"

We were mocking the people who ONLY show up to hate Hurts (ahem 👀) and hype up other QBs because they hate our own QB that much. (Plus Allen did have a terrible game).

I personally criticized Hurts a lot today. Some awful plays. A lot of other people to blame as well.

But as usual, certain "Eagles fans" are not here when Hurts plays well and all of a sudden show up only to trash him. And blame him only when there were also a lot of other issues.

99% of fans are realistic about the issues. The rest are either extreme homers or haters and froth at the mouth with terrible extreme takes.

No, the sky is definitely falling if we lose to the Bears. Our margin for error is gone.

Don't you dare. He was elite tonight with only one mistake

Dallas has a worse defense than Chicago and shut them out in the second half.

He's part of the many issues with the offense and has been all year.

Sorry if that makes you mad

I’m not mad. What you’re saying is true. Just as what I said was true. It’s stupid to blame Hurts for today.

Tbh they are one of the most penalized teams in the league in terms of penalty yards. In penalties per game they are bottom 1/3. This is a reflection on coaching. It’s consistently happening. Offense finds ways to shoot themselves in the foot with them and special teams has 4-5 almost routinely. Like I don’t understand what they do in practice. it’s literally every week they’re getting the same penalties called on punts.

There's no way you can objectively say they didn't on both sides of the ball. They felt super comfortable at 21pts in the 2nd quarter and Dallas made them pay for it

Will either be the loss they needed or the loss that derailed them

I've been here the entire time, but okay

im sorry nick and patullo can't coach or lead an offense, im done with them. if you can fire doug why should nick stay. talent and vic coached defense won the superbowl.

Did he make Fred Johnson commit a hands to the face penalty to take us out of the red zone?

Did he make our sixth OL not line up correctly to take a way a big pass to Goedert to get into Dallas territory?

Did he make Devonta Smith commit OPI (iffy call) to take away another play into FG range?

Did he make Barkley fumble?

And that stupid a-hole returner who moronically fields the ball at the 5 and then proceeds to fumble. Sorry but there is no coming back from that, especially when that is your reputation and were cut from another team this year for the same crap.

The Bears defense is better than the one the Eagles faced tonight. The offensive rebound is not coming.

Defense should face much easier sledding against the Bears in Philly though.

Yeah I remember exciting options being gone, but seemingly better options than Patullo being available. And yet, if we wanted some semblance of stability for Hurts, Patullo was the guy. And this is what we get from Hurts with that. Bad OC for a bad QB. Mess.

Half the names on that list were never going to happen, Slowik (gross) and Bevell are the only realistic choices on that list with a decent chance of being better.

Reporters should honestly stop going to his PC’s. He’ll never be honest about anything

He stood there all day on 3rd and 2 and took a sack he had no business taking.

Hurts is a mental midget too often.

These bouts he gets into where he stands there holding the ball happens too often. Guys are open, he needs to let it rip. He showed that in the 1st half.

Also, the running game is a joke. Ill give Hurts that much that the run push/Barkley look like steaming pig vomit.
