They probably win that game if Fred keeps his friggin' hand out of the guys neck and head area.

No way was Fowler going to get near Hurts before the ball was out.

  • Good news. I got an email back from VABeach_Eagle, he is ok. He has been tending to his mother's health as she's been in the hospital, and exhausted lately. He says he will be more available to log on

No, the sky is definitely falling if we lose to the Bears. Our margin for error is gone.

I said all year I dont care one bit about seeding. Margin for error doesnt matter to me. All that matters is they find ways to improve through the rest of these games. If they can elevate the offense even a little bit, in some way. Run game, or pass game. Just slightly more consistency. Cutting down needless penalties... theyre still better than every other team in the league and Im not afraid to go in to anyone elses stadium.

The only thing stopping the eagles right now, is themselves.

They absolutely must start giving Tank at least half of the carries if not more. If anything it will make Barkley better in the long run and also unleash some competitive dog in him eventually. He came off of a record setting rushing season. A very long volume. 17 game season plus a wild card round starting Super Bowl run. He is running on empty right now. Mentally and in his legs. A reduced workload that he has to then earn the bulk of again will only have him playing his best by the end of the season or will have Tank having taken over as a star. No lose situation if you start giving Tank some more carries here.

Will either be the loss they needed or the loss that derailed them

I’ll take derailed for 500. It was only a matter of times there would be no more lucky wins

Hurts did miss open players. I know skippy and rtk won't acknowledge it though

For sure, but he’s pretty far down on the reasons list IMO.

No, but he was the other 8 drives and those lost us the game. His being good for the first 18 minutes was obliterated by being so over matched for the remaining 42.

Could you not say the same about Hurts?

I’m not mad. What you’re saying is true. Just as what I said was true. It’s stupid to blame Hurts for today.

Frankly the biggest issue today was penalties, ineptitude of offensive play calling after the 1st quarter, run blocking being horrific,  barkley being atrocious in the 4th quarter and special teams consistently hurting field position with penalties (fumble today too). There’s probably more but at the moment those stick out. I could say defense but the defense created multiple turnovers and saved our ass a couple times in this game until they couldn’t.

Unpopular take:

In the first half...and I was saying it all half...the Dallas offense was completely handling our defense in every 1 on 1 matchup. They repeatedly shot themselves in the foot. In the second half, they stopped doing that. Nothing else changed. Our defense didn't change.

On offense, we connected on some big passing plays in the first half. Yeah, I'll say it...mostly not good throws with the WRs making big catches. In the second half, those handful of already unlikely connections on floater throws didn't happen.

Nothing changed except luck.

He stood there all day on 3rd and 2 and took a sack he had no business taking.

Hurts is a mental midget too often.

These bouts he gets into where he stands there holding the ball happens too often. Guys are open, he needs to let it rip. He showed that in the 1st half.

Also, the running game is a joke. Ill give Hurts that much that the run push/Barkley look like steaming pig vomit.

I’ll need to see the film review that says guys were open today. If that evidence shows I’ll happily change my opinion.

Dallas has a worse defense than Chicago and shut them out in the second half.

The Eagles offense is one that can shut itself down, it doesn't matter who the opponent is. I can't tell you how many penalties the offense had that negated positive plays... for penalties that didn't affect the game.

The flip side of this is that the refs gave some help to both teams in some big moments. That long pass to CD Lamb was a OPI if I've ever seen one. The WR can't push the DB in the facemask with a arm bar and then get a DPI call when the DB tries to free himself. The OPI on Smith was an awful call, by the same guy if I think so.

The flip side, they missed the tip on the punt that was called a PF for roughing the passer. Meanwhile, why in the world did Gipson catch the ball on the 1 yard line?! nonono Unbelievable. So many mistakes, but they could have overcome the mistakes if the offense had a clue out there.

I've been here the entire time, but okay

Yeah. Im always here and I never post about QBs from other teams. I hardly even watch other teams. Cant even imagine who he is talking about. Hes just in a Hurts brainwashed la la land.

3rd and 2 with the game on the line and Patullo made a a horrendous play call. He’s not the only issue but he’s incompetent

Difference between the rams and eagles is they are getting better as a team as the season has gone along. The eagles defense has gotten better but offense and special teams are as wildly inconsistent since early in the season.

Nick -his shitshow

KP -sucks at OC

Vic -let a team come back from 21points

Hurts -held the ball, missed open receivers, etc.

What's your list?

I blame everyone with a green jersey or hat for today. They literally all played a role in the loss. Teams win, teams lose. And in this game, the team most definitely **** the bed collectively.

That. Offense. Owns. Us.

That’s what made our offensive nonchalance even more infuriating than usual.

if nick and patullo were fired at season's end , they would never get a NFL job again,

there is a pattern in most games this season where he seems to get worse in the 2nd half. He often starts well, and then becomes slower processing as the game goes on. Suddenly holds the ball more, looks less decisive about running or throwing away. Starts taking a few bad sacks. Its followed the same script. Maybe every game, if not, most of them.

That felt like a one read play. Hurts locked onto AJ and he was never able to get separation.

Did you read that article or just google and copy paste it?

Several times, because like I said this discussion has been had several times. What's your issue with them? That they already mentioned patullk as a strong candidate? This is right after the super bowl mind you, so all of these people were available

that seems like a huge indictment on coaching. 5-man fronts should not be something that fools a veteran group

Stoutland having his worst year since he's been here. If teams like the Panthers and Jets and Giants can run the ball then you can. Even with your injuries.

this oline couldnt open holes in a 3 man front
