They took their foot off the gas and put it up their backside. It wasn't a matter of aggressiveness, it was a matter of execution. They couldn't get out of their own way. Missed throws, missed blocks, stupid penalties, unforced turnover (the punt return, not Barkley's fumble), so many mistakes.

Some easy quick things to clean up:

• Immediate implementation of a RB rotation.

• It is an obligatory box that needs to be checked. Devonta Smith gets a minimum 1 jump ball per half. Randy Moss treatment with how good he is at coming down with them.

• Start Toth until he's so bad and Jurgens is so healthy that you can make the switch.

• Stop sticking to the run. Take a page out of AR's book and abandon it when after the first few don't work.

• Eliminate any Hurts runs lateral to the tackles. He's not fast enough and gets run down, usually resulting in an awkward slide for negative yards. Hurts is a north/south A gap runner when no one in the defense is home.

Yea you can go ahead and remove fangio from your list, I'm not sure what yall expect from a defense that is on the field every 40 seconds and still force 3 turnovers including a turnover on downs on the 2 yard line with the game on the line.

If you want to blame him he's literally the last person on the list so far below anyone associated with the offense you may as well just leave him off. Held the cowboys offense to 24 points at home who had a lot of help from the zebras to even get to that point.

Seriously. Nothing about the OL or offense looked remotely different today. They may have been looking at an unfamiliar front but we were all looking at a familiar performance and result from them.

They showed it on the broadcast. There wasn’t a receiver open. Perhaps someone over on the right that they didn’t capture but the 3 receivers to the left and middle were all definitely covered.

Ideally if everyone was covered he could’ve tucked it and ran, or thrown it at somebody’s feet, but he was trying to win the game, held it and was unable to use his mobility to break out of the sack. Hurts holding it too long is a legit gripe.

I’m not in the hating on Hurts camp but I can see why others are. I think you can run off a pretty long list of bigger issues we saw today before getting to Hurts.

I disagree. You could see a difference once we hit 21 points. Both coaches went safe and it cost us the game
