Could go to Scott loeffler the Qb coach. He called plays in college. But i doubt they do that particularly on a short week. If anything that is happening after the Black Friday game

This is Sirianni's offense regardless of who calls plays so even if you get a better play caller the issues will remain.

They have to do something. Whether it's changing the play caller or changing who is responsible for constructing the game plan each week or something else. Nothing has gotten better all season. Their offense sucks for 3 quarters of almost every game, they lead the NFL in 3 and outs, they can't get their stars touches consistantly, they have drive killing penalties at the worst moments, they can never get plays in on time. If they want to run this current dynamic off the edge of the cliff into wasting what could be a repeat season, then that's on them. But they gotta try something. Other teams have changed play calling duties this season. Just try something different. Lurie and Howie should be tuned in enough to know who or what is responsible for these woes. And they need to have the balls to change something within that dynamic. I don't care if Sirianni pisses and moans over it either.

Well on the bright side most of us would have taken going 2-1 over a tough 3 match stretch. Stomp the Bears on Friday and all will be well :)

I think like I've always said here, there's a reason this always happens after the Eagles go to the SB. I think they should be more exhaustive even when that happens, but I have a feeling that when they go to the SB, they get a bit skittish about candidates. I think that's actually something Sirianni could afford to be more cynical in, and overstock his staff with backup options. Mind you, that doesn't always fix what problems you have - see the Dolphins which have TWO OC candidates just chilling on the staff based on their background, one of which I consider a very good interview - but it does make it easier for you to have good backup plans, which is where I really feel like they've been lacking.

Sirianni is not an offensive genius. If hurts does better with experienced OC then stop deviating from that. You still haven’t answered. I asked whose fault is I that bigsby is outperforming saquan but only had one touch in this game? Or the stupid timeout? I guess that’s hurts fault too.

Second half penalties. 10 called, nine accepted. The tenth was offset and cost us an interception. Throw in a couple turnovers. Many here would blame coaching. But at some point you need to hold the players accountable.

Another BS part of this team? The blatant hypocrisy around the AJ Brown conversation. AJ should be cool with 2-3 catches a game for the best interest of the team? Then shouldn’t Sirianni be cool with canning his best friend and Barkley cool touching the ball 10-15 times instead of 20-25?

In fairness, I would say when you are bottom five in penalty yards on the season and bottom third in penalties called against you, that’s on coaching and the players. Coaching for not getting on his guys about it and holding them accountable. Also on the players for not holding themselves accountable and fixing the issue

By the way, Sydney Brown is really bad at football. I told all the people excited for him to get a chance to be the starter opposite Blankenship that he can't play. I have a hard time believing that some dude on a PS somewhere wouldn't be better than him.

Obviously Howie sees these struggles and isn’t dumb. He probably gave Nick a longer leash after a SB win but eventually he’s going to have to force his hand because the plane is nose diving offensively week over week.

It doesn’t help that the rookie class isn’t really contributing this year. Campbell kept the seat warm for Dean but is now depth. Mukuba is doing well enough for a rookie thrust into the starting lineup, but when you just evaluate his role as a starting safety…it’s not so good.

Sydney Brown starting at safety will be a total liability if that’s the case on Friday. The guy is a total rock head and his only fit is being on special teams roughing guys up. I hope Reed’s injury isn’t bad.

In all honesty, it’s much easier for bigbsy.. the d isn’t selling out to stop him. Once other teams realize when he’s in he’s getting the ball, he’s cooked as well

Got to imagine Epps is starting next week over brown. Unless blank and kuba are both out.
