  • Good news. I got an email back from VABeach_Eagle, he is ok. He has been tending to his mother's health as she's been in the hospital, and exhausted lately. He says he will be more available to log on

They tackled at least two DL on yhe same play and no flags

Refs were inconsistent. PI on Q for a very similar play that happened to Smitty. PI on Cooper while he's being stiff armed and pushed off in the face

Simmons makes sense if we’re down Mukuba and Blank since he knows Vic’s defense and would be a cheap rental. Also wants to play for them. No idea what shape he’s in as he just turned 32 and hasn’t played in 11 months.

Nick is doing a horrible job this year, and yeah, they have a good record, but that is because of Vic. There is no excuse to go over 3 quarters against the worst statistical defense in the league and not score any points or to look that undisciplined. How many drives this year have been killed because of penalties? You watch the Rams tonight and THAT is a well coached team. I do not for the life of me understand why Jeff and Howie let Nick promote someone internally a year removed from a disaster trying the same thing AND seeing how someone experienced won them a SB. That team is so talented and it's a sin what we are watching. That is not a team that is winning another SB, and they should be cruising to another. Honestly, I don't care if they won last year. If Nick doesn't make a change he deserves to be fired.

Offensive talent--top 5.

Honestly, as much hate as I'll get for this, I think this situation is kind of hilarious. Eagles fans have some crazy PTSD from 2023 and view Sirianni as the villain for that season. But the truth of the matter is, despite the fact that no one wants to admit it, the accusations towards Brian Johnson that season were relatively toothless, and this season is the opposite of 2023.

This year, the offense is truly letting the defense down. There's no question about that.

But despite up to this season people calling Brian Johnson the horrible hire of Sirianni who had no business coaching offense, that offense was actually like 7th in points, while being top 10 if I remember right, in both the passing and rushing categories.

I think the funniest thing is that the only thing that wasn't true about was the fact that Jalen Hurts threw like 15 interceptions. If we had Brian Johnson right now, we actually probably aren't having this conversation at all (middle of the road offense, great defense), yet people view the OFFENSIVE hire in 2023 as the failure to take note from.

Great example of thinking you have it bad until it gets worse.

Is this true? I'm sure someone's posted it already. WTF

That definitely feels like straight up sarcasm.

It's late and I deleted it after I realized that.

Tbh it looked like he locked into to Dotson (believe it’s him inside of aj). He looked to Aj and he got jammed then it looks like he was looking at Dotson

I had a feeling before the game they were losing and the Bears would beat them Friday. Honestly, I'm starting to think the Chargers do as well. You mentioned it getting worse and we could be heading for that. I'm not trying to be negative, but let's be real. That team we saw today is going to fly into LA and win a physical game? They are banged up heading into a rough game vs the Bears this week and it reminds me of the Denver/Giants week. They better figure it out fast because it could get very worse very quickly.

Wow the eagles are 7 point favorites vs. the bears. I get the bears haven’t beaten anyone good but our offense you have no clue what it’s going to do. Add on our secondary might be down 3 starters

Yeah, I hope the kid isn't done for the year.

I’m guessing a high ankle sprain. I kind of think he’s likely out til at least the commanders game. But frankly might just sit him until playoff if our seeding is set by week 17/18

Boy am I glad they didn't sign CJ when he was on the street. What a disaster that would have been.

Better to let it fall into ashes right now because if I ever have to deal with all the takes after 2023 all over again, it's about time to quit Eagles discussion. It feels almost like now winning games is punished by fandom PTSD and if the result isn't NFCCG, it's better to just not make the playoffs.

...Maybe I have Eagles fandom PTSD PTSD...

Jokes aside, yeah, it could definitely get worse quickly because if the defense isn't top flight, we're in danger.

I get it. I can't sleep I'm so upset.

2023 offense started really well but then the league figured out how to dictate them their plays and that they had no blitz beaters. Johnson was fired for not being able to adjust.

This year never started well and so far KP hasn’t been able to adjust either. The OL is playing a lot worse though so he can’t lean on the run game like BJ could (it wasn’t 2024 but still very good). I’m Ok with KP getting play calling taken off him at this point and certainly would be fine firing him at the end of the year

The PI on DeJean with Lamb stiff arming his face was infuriating. There was a giant snowball effect in the 4th quarter. The offense sucked, the penalties started compounding (including both of these terrible calls) and the defense started losing guys.

More Tank please!

Thank you NFL for yet another short week.

Safety first.

How the F did this coaching staff manage to win a Super Bowl lol

I'm not upset or shocked. I went into this game thinking they would lose.

The writing has been on the wall all season that the offense was not good. Sooner or later the luck was going to run out. It just made sense to me this was going to be the game.

There will be more just like this game. I see a Div Champs title but I don't see a SB winning team.

Might be the first time in 20 plus years I sell my playoff tickets. That is the faith I have in this offense.

Yes, Seth, if we ran the ball the worst case scenario was gaining one yard and setting up a 4th and 1 tush push. Nothing could go wrong there.

Joyner was a helluva player, but he’s such a bad analyst.
