Seems like alot of posters predicted the Eagles would lose the game. Division opponent. Eagles and Cowboys pretty much split every year. Dallas isnt a bad team at all. Great offense and defense improved some with Quinnen Williams addition. Being up 21-0 and losing is what stings the most.

They have to get the run game going somehow. It's the biggest issue with the offense.

On defense, we are worried about keeping players and finding ways to pay them. On offense...literally the whole offense, the offseason should be spent finding ways to get out of paying them. IMO the two biggest money pits on offense this year are Jurgens and Dickerson, both have been awful.

The whole offense is built around running the ball and they cant run the ball and the qb making top dollar isnt a good enough passer to make up for the lack of run game.

It all starts up front and for an O line that has consistently been ranked i n the top 3 the last 5 years theyve been awful, im not sure anyone would have predicted the eagles O line would fall off a cliff, particularly run blocking, the pass blocking has been ok.

If Were looking to trim the fat those two would top of my list.

I think its more so injuries is why the O-line has taken a step back. Lane obviously but Jurgens and Dickerson aren't healthy. Steen isnt bad but he's a downgrade as far as running the ball compared to Becton.

Not shocked that they lost, just the pathetic way they gave this game away. The offense should have gone uptempo after that first failed drive in the second half. It was obvious that they needed to change the flow, but they just kept up with the dumb same old crap. Hard to get momentum back after it snowballs the way it did.

Wait till after the season is over. You're gonna see them announce Dickerson and Jurgens need surgery for their injuries. Whatever they have, they've been playing thru it and it shows in their performance.

Jurgens need to be benched for his own health. I don't see the point in grinding him down when they have a competent replacement- if the team wants to win a SB, the dude needs to be taken away from the game for a week or two to help him be healthy when it matters.

Eagles see a lot of 5 man fronts.

Vegas has us as 7 point favorites over the Bears.

Giants firing everyone

Yesterday and the loss to the Commanders last season had the same feel to me.

What is the larger drop off? Lane Johnson to Fred Johnson this season or Hurts to Pickett last season.

Bingo. No excuses for the coaching side, or by proxy, the players to be surprised by that. It should be a case of how do we react to it? Rather than just running Saquon for 2 yards, etc. What D position is missing with that front? Etc

I know it’s easy to put Dickerson and Jurgens in the same category, but I’ve at least seen glimpses of the old Dickerson. Jurgens is a shell of himself

I do think the nature of the collapse coming on top of the endless debate about the offense is coloring the response somewhat, a 3 point loss on the road to a divisional rival team that with Dak from 2020 to 2023 put up scores of 37,41,51,40 and 33 on us is not altogether a disaster.

That said we do need Sirianni and Patullo to figure out that they can't salt games away with Saquon running wild this year and if you're beating them hollow with passing, you should probably stick with that even at the risk of the odd extra turnover.
