The eagles cant just line up and get 60 yards runs every game yet they run the offense like they are.

I was happy to see the eagles run a lot more 11 yesterday instead of 12 but how many targets did Dotson get in those sets? Zero. Part of that is on hurts and part of it on scheme and routes.

Even on the last 3rd and 2 they line up in 11 and get pre snap what looks like a 1 on 1 up top with AJ but instead the LB slides over and AJ runs a 5 yard hitch that the DB is sitting on because the cowboys have seen that a bazillion. It looked like a 1 read play, which I hate and when that read was gone hurts had no idea what to do with the ball. Why even pass the ball there in the first place, stupid call, stupid scheme stupid execution and thats been the eagles all year, that one play sums up so much of whats wrong with the most expensive offense in the league

There were a lot of people that got upset with me when I said in 2019 that Doug’s offense was not overly innovative and it became stale. But the proof was every week all 22 breakdowns showed it. Plus, his personnel was not being utilized to its maximum. 2017 Doug and Reich did a wonderful. But after that each year the offense got more predictable and more stale. Eventually when the roster began deteriorating, he and his offensive staff really didn’t have an answer to keeping their high level of play on offense. Eventually, wentz completely fell off the cliff and at that point, it was complete implosion regardless of what Doug could or couldn’t do it.

Imo sirianni is Doug but much more willing to play a conservative approach with minimizing turnovers with a good defense. People can disagree but if we had better offensive coaching I’m not sure games like KC, Tampa, Denver are even close. Heck I’m not sure if Gb and the lions is a one possession game at the end with how the defense played.

I’ll say it again.

If it’s ok for AJ Brown to get 3 catches a game, it should be ok for Saquon to get 10 touches. Contracts and feelings be damned.

Completely unacceptable. Sirianni is lucky he won the SB because if not and this season ends because the offense comes up lame, he'd 100% be fired if he didn't have a SB under his belt.

Soon we will all realize that this roster just isn't nearly as good as last year's. The depth is lacking and it shows up with injuries that happen in game. Put Pryor in at Right Tackle VS Broncos and we lost. Without Q and Carter and we lose VS. Giants. Lose Blankenship, Jackson and Ojomo hurts wrist and it all falls apart VS Cowboys. Kept saying in here our depth will be our undoing. At some point, players are responsible here. They are having down years with Barkley, AJ and Carter and most of the offensive line. Didn't like the Jurgens or Barkley extension and loss of a few depth players. Stand by that here. Think Rams are the Creme of the crop!

I'm not saying I expect the Eagles to have the #1 running offense in the NFL again. But they can't get anything going every week? Nothing? They can't bust one big play? When you still have guys with talent on this OL. You have Barkley. You have Bigsby. You have Goedert. You have Hurts' legs as a threat. You have WRs on the outside to take attention from the defense. It's totally unacceptable. I have to put that on coaching and preparation.

When teams around the league have injuries to the o line and can still run with the backups part of the reason is they sit down the injured guys and play the healthy backups, not the eagles though they trot out the dead corpses of one legged o lineman to cos play as speed bumps.

Backups ate better than guys with one leg.

Jurgens is hurt, he cant move, he got abused yesterday and has all year, Dickerson has been playing on one leg all year and was again useless yesterday and apparently yesterday was the first time he snd the coaches ever saw an odd defensive front...😒

Doesnt help that mailata who has two functional legs has been playing like hot garbage, whens the last time you saw him pancake anyone? Heck id settle for a crepe at this point

Id sit jurgens down til hes healthy. Toth isnt all pro but he has two legs, the eagles best run performance this year was with toth.

Id sit dickerson down as well and let him get healthy, let a young guy play, not Pryor, that dude has two legs but he might as well be in a wheel chair, dudes legs never worked.

Eagles top unit and the one thing they could usually rely on was having a top O line, theyve been ok as pass blockers but as run blockers as a unit they are dead last in expected rush yards/ block and if they cant get better there the only place theyre going come playoff time is home.

Yeah, I'll just say it.....if this team goes in the tank at the end of the year again, a-la 2023, Sirriani should be fired.

Game was a case of both teams trying to outclass the other in stupid. Eagles win that battle... and lost the game.

Catching a punt at the 1 yard line should have gotten Gipson cut on the spot... and force him to walk back to Philly. . Bonehead of all bonehead plays last night. I can't think of a bigger mental mistake by either team than that.

Jalen Carters shoulder injury is a bigger isse than he or anyone is letting on.

Dickerson, Jurgens, Mailata all probowl all pro calibre players are hurt and playing like garbage.

Lane an all pro isnt an all pro anymore and is again hurt☹️

Baun an all pro has played well but eagles best LB the last 3 weeks has been Dean.

The only all pro currently on this roster is Quinyon and as good as he is he creates zero turnovers 🤷‍♂️

So while you cant have all pros at every position the guys who are all pros need to ply like it and none of them are

Listen, Howie had a pretty bad offseason when it comes down to it. I like the Phillips trade. But he's been backpedaling since this offseason trying to make things right. Have too many scrubs coming in like Sydney Brown and Matt Pryor. LOL Adoree they have managed to hide, but he's been pretty bad compared to Slay. CJGJ, should have signed him a couple weeks ago for a song. Not enough depth at DT, so with one injury we are done with all the guys playing too many snaps and tired. He's just been off. Sorry...

Goedert, Steen and Jurgens all miss their blocks on that play.

Im so sick of seeing steen standing up pre snap, as hes automatically playing high, one would think its a silent snap thing because of the road noise but they do it at home as well, it makes zero sense.🤷‍♂️

Goedert doesnt even touch his guy, cam as usual is leaning too far forward and gets rag dolled and steen misses his block too.

Barkley has zero chance, worse part is 3 guys on one play missing blocks is common place this year

Some of those 21 points were fool's gold. That second drive was extended because of a roughing the kicker and then we also had another 3rd down conversion because of a penalty. The Cowboys gifted us those points.

That is such a straw man. No one I've seen is saying Saquon is "the" issue with the running game.

People are saying he's playing like crap because he is.

That sequence on the last drive where he tried dancing around then got tackled by his ankles for no gain, then inexplicably fell down on 2nd down 2 yards short was terrible.

Of course the next play was the Hurts sack so it's easy to forget, but Saquon left a bunch of critical yards on the field
