Bottom of round 3 w money retention vs top of round 5 which could become middle to back end-round 4th.

I certainly think the difference in the two is worth 1 to 1.5 rounds. Plus Fangio, has had both players and wanted to be reunited with Jaelen, I'll back him on that.

Fleeced is silly. I think he overpaid but it was a calculated risk they could take. They are trying to win a SB right now, not develop a 3rd round pick who might one day be good. Still having two additional 3rd round picks (one of which being very early in the round) put Howie in a position to be able to overpay and get the guy they wanted. Will he stay healthy, will he be close enough to his old self after two major injuries to play at a high enough level, will he re-sign or play well enough to sign for enough money elsewhere so the Eagles get a comp pick? Lots of questions and some risk for sure but it was for a 3rd round pick and the team's fourth best pick they owned in 2026.

Yet Phillips was never mentioned as one. Can smith, holland and trill Williams did. Their secondary hated him. Phillips was never mentioned. Neither was Chubb. I’m sure Phillips absolutely hated fangio. Meanwhile…

You are right Ramsey, Howard and Holland were the leaders on that secondary and the young guys piled in. I think it was partly scheme because those top guys were man cover guys and Fangio uses a lot of zone-match. I also think the secondary / corners coach Sam Madison may have clashed with Vic - was there before him and it’s just unusual to get that kind of hate for a coach from 1 grouping in particular.

If Goedert goes down I understand trading for Ertz. Other than that why trade for a TE who will get 1-2 targets a game and can’t block?

You understand what now? Who's trading for Ertz?

Apropos to nothing I was watching Eagles/Giants Monday night game from 1970 last night and illegal man downfield was a 15 yard penalty.

Eagles won. Green jersey, white pants, white helmet with green wings.

*Fran Tarkenton was Giants QB and Fred Dryer Giants DE.

After today they can't trade for anyone and he gets hurt often. Depth there isn't a bad thing.

Jerrah's big trade that is going to save the season

Shame they didn't blow more picks

If you can get the leader of the Bengals defense you gotta do it. Long live Jerry Jones

The nfl is a joke. 15 yard penalty for some bs taunting that had no effect on the game

I mean, they suspended Luvu for this. Tell me what in the world he's supposed to do? Suspended???

The NFL needs to do a serious internal look at the way they are calling games and disciplining guys.

Frightening to think the Bengals defense has gotten worse.😬

It's an egregiously bad suspension... BUT, it couldn't have happened to a better guy. Luvu drives me nuts.

He's the kind of player you love on your team, but hate him on any other. I'd imagine we all hate Jalen Carter on any other team, especially in the division.

This is a "hail Mary" where the DB is just supposed to bat it down?

And this is the actual TV footage, I didn't crop out the WR. He's out of frame.

I couldn't care less about 1 frame. That actually shows Doubs running toward the WR. As I said, he quit on the play after stepping out of the endzone and becoming ineligible as a receiver, but realized he had to play defense and closed in on the WR. Here's a portion of the video that shows it all in real time (as opposed to a single still frame). It also, btw, shows there were two other offensive players with the angle to potentially prevent much of a return.

I'm not a Jordan Love fan and think he throws a lot of ill-advised garbage up for grabs. But my position on 4th down is it's always better to throw a catchable ball than to throw the ball away or take a sack. Love didn't know Doubs stepped out of bounds and expected him to attempt to make a catch, not quit and stand there. That play looks a lot different if Doubs hadn't realized he stepped out and kept playing.

I’ve never even heard of this spare. Good grief, and he’s coming off of season ending knee surgery just last year.

They spent a 7th 😆

Dude is going from the worst defense to maybe the next worse.

Poor guy.

I don’t think any other team in the nfc east will have a winning record.

I had picked DAL to finish 7-10 this year, I don't think they make it past 6 -11 and 5 - 12 is a real possibility.

He was mostly benched already which tells you something

It was an incredibly dumb throw and youre the only one on earth who thinks it wasnt

You forgot the tie. I get it. It's been a difficult 24 hours.

I'm fine with that. But I suspect every fan that watches their team's QB not even give a guy a chance on 4th down by taking a sack or throwing the ball away, probably begins to agree with me.

yeh, tells me the way DAL is running the organization the NFL should strip away the team from Jerry for gross negligence. This is just getting out of hand.
