Eagles need to hire Vic Fangio as a consultant for the offense.

F it bring, in chip kelly

I wish the eagles just had a competent X’s and O’s offensive head coach instead of sirianni, at least don’t have as much of a drop off when OC leaves.

  • Good news. I got an email back from VABeach_Eagle, he is ok. He has been tending to his mother's health as she's been in the hospital, and exhausted lately. He says he will be more available to log on

No halftime adjustments. If it is, it's definitely not the kind were looking for with our offensive roster.

One can only wonder if it had not been for the slew of penalties, if this offense would have created a spark that is desperately needed.

Last 8 games they are averaging 7.3 points in the second half.

it’s similar to the broncos game this year. Curious how we respond. If we do what we did against the giants after the broncos then this team is dead in the water.

I think we beat the Bears simply because my brain cannot process the notion of respecting that team. But I don't think it's going to be pretty. I think it'll be a typical 2025 win. I don't think this offense is good enough to play a good, complete game against any defense this year.

Think of a bad MLB hitter. They can get lucky and smoke a 430' home run. It doesn't mean things are changing. You probably won't see them truly get dialed in and go 4-4 and 3-5 in consecutive games as a sign that they are turning it around.

That's our offense. We'll see the home run here and there with a good half against a bad defense or Devonta Smith bringing down a deep ball or even Barkley eventually popping off an 80 yard run. But that's not sustainable anymore. They are just consistently getting whooped and I don't see it changing.

It’s basically the Phillies offense that can look good in the regular season against poorer pitching and even then they’ll get shutout by a pitcher they haven’t seen before. Then postseason it is going to be pushing a bolder uphill.

Absolutely not, F that pear-shaped hack.

Never wanted to extend him this offseason coming off back surgery. No need to rush that contract. And signed slightly lower than Humphrey. Like I've been saying, we will look back at this offseason as being a bad job by Howie of maintaining a Superbowl contender and keeping this bext 2 years the main focus to be 2peats and 3peat champions. Understand he couldn't keep everyone. But he sure missed on a bunch of moves.

ummmmm....there were a LOT of places to go with the football on that play. And an absolutely fantastic pocket to sit there and consider all of them. Dotson deep, AJ in the middle of the field, the TE (I assume Calcaterra) underneath all surrounded by a broken zone and tons of space. That's one play. But they had 3 guys wide open. No issues with the routes or playcall there.

The only 2 people who make any sense as an offensive consultant are Doug or Daboll. I'm not sure either could help, but it's not like we have much to lose given the offensive production. Daboll has history with Jalen at least, and he was scheming to stop this offense earlier this year.

What’s the injury bothering him again?

Maintaining is something Howie has NEVER done well. Building...phenomenal.

I'd argue that this year was a nearly impossible maintenance job where his hands were tied. He had a defense that he simply couldn't afford to keep intact, prioritized his young OL which was the foundation of the team...and the offense, as a whole, crested and broke. It wasn't an easy situation.

He's struggled due to injuries and such, but I hate tweets like this because what does that even mean? My guess is he's going by PFF's grading, which is subjective. He's struggled is enough, I don't know how you rank it and if you do, he should share where he's getting the rankings from, which he'll never do because all he does is steal other people stats and graphics and never give them credit.

Isn't Daboll's history to bench him in the championship game? We can probably cross him off the list if he was the guy that did that.

Can't honestly see any reasonable seasoned coach walking into this clown show this late in the season unless they're desperate for the $$$

So either players aren’t paying attention to coaches aren’t doing their job with the players

Imo i don’t think he should’ve come back as early as he did from the back surgery. Imo his play looks like he’s trying to avoid re-injuring it and/or it’s limiting him

What's with the OL continuously getting off the line of scrimmage all out of sync?

Dejean got cooked on the outside. Keep that kid on the inside. Where the hell is Jakorian Bennett at??!!

This team has some fatal flaws and it will come to roost. There's a lack of depth overall that can have been handled better. Too much tinkering from a dominant Superbowl roster. 20 some new faces and there are too many fringe players on the roster who can not be relied on in a pinch. Dead wood in other words.

Moronic F'ing DAL "fans" who don't know dick about how a full season of football plays out...

three men are driving in a car with the words we are back baby

Jurgens is a center in the Jason Kelce mold. People forget that Kelce truly had a rough couple years in there around 2012-2014, struggling with a soft anchor. If we are lucky, he can have a similar trajectory.
