edit. I'd rather the QB make some attempt to get the ball out and if it gets picked for a touchback, then it's no worse than just not converting. Had he caught it and got a pick 6, I could understand your argument.

The trade is worse than the loss last night, I’m glad I saved the bourbon, I’m gonna need to get through the day. I had already accepted it was going to be a tough year in the W-L column but it’s just compounding failures at this point.

The NFL needs to do a serious internal look at the way they are calling games and disciplining guys.

It's a pretty textbook example of a hip drop tackle. What he did that he shouldn't have done is swing his hips and legs onto the ball carrier's legs. It's at the 13-14 second mark of the video. If he just launches himself at the ball carrier and wraps up without bringing his legs under the ball carrier it's not a foul.

Hurts gets more criticism from some of these guys when he throws a deep Touchdown pass and wins the game. 😂
