Howie had his worst season in memory of bullet proofing this team. And went with a lot of hopium in just too many spots. Guys who are ill equipped for many snaps on a Superbowl contender. Let me go through my hit list.

B. Young

Robinson

A. Jackson

Ringo

Bennet

Dillon

Gipbson

Toth

Pryor

S. Brown

They force fed us Makuba. I believe. Could have used a red shirt year.

If any of these guys play many snaps we take a nice hit.

Am I missing anyone? LOT OF STIFFS ON THIS LIST.

To be fair he was preparing for some big contracts very soon

Though Carter isn't exactly lighting up the league this time so maybe we get a team friendly deal?

  • Good news. I got an email back from VABeach_Eagle, he is ok. He has been tending to his mother's health as she's been in the hospital, and exhausted lately. He says he will be more available to log on

You are right. But he’s literally getting hit 54% of the time behind the LOS. I wonder if there’s a stat that shows contact in general bec we all see they are hitting him almost at the LOS every time. There’s just no where to go inside and our OC continues to run him up the middle the majority of the time

Latest stat released that the eagles OL are ranked 32nd dead last in expected rush yards/ block. Theyre not making any holes or getting any push.

The o line keep saying theyre 1 block away and are so close but theyre not, a run play showed earlier on this post showed 3 guys missing blocks on one play, Goedert, Steen, and Jurgens, and Barkley got 1 yard if that

That happens every run play, its not just one guy missing a block its multiple guys missing blocks every play and when they do happen to actually block it up Saquons PTSD isnt seeing the holes.

He was a 4th rounder so it’s not extremely surprising I guess, but Ty Robinson being inactive almost every week is disappointing to me. I had high hopes for him as being a breakout rookie and they’ve gotten zero from him this year.

That's part of why I want the hurry up. Keep the coaches out of it a little bit more. Let the talent on the field shine.

It worked against the Rams, eagles were so far behind they went hurry up basically the 2nd half with hurts running the show and he played great.

We’ve beat every elite team we’ve played this year. Rams aren’t going to win out. We can probably lose one more and still lock the 1 seed

Really gotta hope the lions and Seattle can take the out back to back weeks. I don’t see us running the table either.

Also I thought Dejean has his worst game for us. Between him and Jackson they gave up like 200+ yards for 9 catches. Dak absolutely rinsed our seconday as usual. Would have been much more if ceedee could catch

A bunch came on the uncalled OPI on CD.

Was such a bad call, as the ref who threw the flag was like 5 yards away from his spot had a perfect view of the extended arm and facemask grab by CD and some how calls PI on dejean...😒

Carter doesn’t come across as someone who’s taking a team friendly deal and Rosenhaus is his agent.

The one Pickens catch downfield was just a great catch by him. I didn’t think the coverage was that bad. Lamb committed OPI on DeJean on his big one down the field and then Carter ran into Quinyon taking him out on the big Pickens play at the end. Those three plays were probably 75% of the yardage.

Listening and reading the transcripts of his presser today gives me no confidence that he nor the offensive staff is going to figure this out. At this point I’d take the rams over the eagles. Frankly everyone can say we own the rams but we all said the same thing about Tampa bay until Tampa bay came in here and shut us all up and closed the vet down. I watch the rams, their defense every week is getting better. Stafford is playing at a pretty elite level and their offense isn’t incorporating new formations and players are being maximized

I wouldn’t agree the Eagles own the Rams at all. They won but the last two games you can point to two critical plays that if the Rams made them instead of the Eagles, the Rams probably win both. And that’s against a better than current Eagles team.

Why was Gipson ever on this team?

I never said I thought the Eagles owned them. But if you go on Twitter and you hear people talking about how the Eagles when they play the Rams, that they own them. That they live rent free in the Rams’ head. Frankly, the Rams are a much better team right now than the Eagles. When you watch them, they’ve gotten better over the course of the season. I can’t say that about the Eagles on the offensive side. Frankly, offensively and special teams is worse today than it was weeks ago.

I'd be OK if it was Booker still in rotation as the 4th DT but not being able get past Young is concerning

They both interfered and he caught the pass anyways, so it’s a wash

Vic doesn’t run a deep rotation, but yeah I’d like to see the Vanilla Gorilla getting those 7 snaps.

• 70 snaps: Jalen Carter

• 49 snaps: Jordan Davis

• 44 snaps: Moro Ojomo

• 7 snaps: Byron Young

Even if that's true, still not a wash because offsetting penalties means the play comes back. Like how our INT was wiped out.

They got to keep their play because of the refs blew an obvious call. To be fair the worse OPI was on the TD that followed that play where the guy bowled over his defender to get free and then caught a pass

That INT was only an INT because he thought it was a free play for 12 men. Similar to when someone jumps offsides and they throw it deep. He wouldn't have thrown that pass otherwise.

Yeah, no table dancing for us. I just hope we look competitive Friday because we didn't for the final 42 minutes of the Dallas game.

I wasn’t saying you. I was responding to this and just using your post as a jumping off point

Nope dejean didnt PI and if both penalties were called it wouldnt matter if he caught it, would be off setting penalties and replay of down.

It was an obvious hands to the face on CD and should have been called.

I don't know how Saquon's contract impacts the cap over the next few years, Howie royally effed up by giving a RB a huge contract extension after 1 season instead of keeping some important pieces on 1 or 2 year deals. Give me Saquon's original contract with Rodgers and Becton here through 2026.

Then you look at all the 1-year deals that just haven't panned out. Uche, Ojulari, Lamm, Granson, Dillon, Ogbo, Bryant. All of their contracts combined probably equal out to one of Rodgers or Becton.

Just one miss after another when you look back now.

agree on the RB and giving him an extension after a year. But i do think uche is an Ok signing. Hes fine as a backup. The rest were not good.

This team is giving me Phillies vibes: the offense should be good, but really isn't. May make the playoffs but just don't have the offense to make any noise.

He was OK to start but has been downgraded to a ST player at most now. Just a weird season all around.
